Love the guys at Alice’s station. They are always willing to help out, give directions, or to tell a good joke. The gas is a little pricey, but you’re up in the mountains! On a sunny day, the people watching is killer. Make sure to stop in at Alice’s Restaurant!

Self-serve at tiny country gas station under the redwood trees next to mellow Alice’s restaurant. CLEAN convenient restrooms, easy parking, next gas is miles away.

I’m always torn between getting fuel here and the Trading Post, across the way. Both great little places with nice people.

Definitely a pleasant surprise in the midst of woods after driving for 20 – 30 minutes from any civilized area. There is one gas station but the rest is part of the restaurant as this gas station is run by the restaurant. They have Visa and Mastercard and they have some of the CLEANEST rest stop bathrooms I’ve seen anywhere. I would not have minded being in it because I didn’t feel icky at all. Additionally, they had really good soap! It left my hands smelling great after unlike most gas station bathrooms where it smells sort of chemical-y and gross and gives you a headache. The gas here is reasonable considering it’s the only gas you will find in MANY miles. Make it a stop and eat at Alice’s as well!
