Dr. Bailey is fabulous. I can’t say enough about her skill, knowledge and compassion. I used Dr. Bailey to help me get pregnant with my second child. She helped me through the whole process. She was always available to answer my questions and I felt she genuinely cared about me. She works closely with the fertility office in the building and I can see why they recommended her. I would also highly recommend her!

My son was terrified to have a bowel movement! He has had trouble with bowel movements since the day he started eating solid foods. Doctors kept giving us prescriptions for suppositories and telling us to have him on Miralax daily… (no baby should have to go through that daily) Dr. Bailey recommended he start daily probiotics and Omega oil. With the two combined my son is finally getting relief and enjoying life the way he should be! No more baby in pain!

Compassionate, caring, great from office gal Jan. Dr Bailey is wonderful and I highly recommend her. It’s relaxing and healing. The environment is comforting and quite. She also gives senior discounts.

They take good care of you here. I love this place! No more antibiotics for UTI’S. I continue to get great care with the help of Oceanside Acupuncture ;) I am so thankful to have found this place for all my feminine needs.

I cannot comment on the actual doctor but the woman on the phone when I just called and inquired literally talked me out of using this doctor. I called to schedule an appointment to help induce labor at which point she went on a diatribe about how it’s not «inducing» labor and on and on. After a long conversation with herself she presumed I didn’t know what I needed (second child, second time using acupuncture to help induce labor, the first time having acupuncture work just fine), I thanked her and said I’d look around and call them back.
It doesn’t need to be that complicated. Just wanted to schedule an appointment in a couple months.

I gave Dr Tracey Bailey a review from my personal Unilocal page in 2012. I want to add to that and update that Dr Bailey still is top in my book of Acupuncturists and Healers. She literally kept me going and probably kept me alive, when I was really, really, sick and stopped working for awhile starting June of 2013. I saw her 2 x a week or as often as I could and it kept me strong enough to keep looking for the cause and the solution to whatever was wrong with me. I finally got a Diagnosis from a Dr up in Seattle after seeing so many specialists and internist MD’s here. It was nothing I nor any of my colleagues or Doctors thought of or would have thought of. I am well now, getting back to work since October of this year, and so grateful for all that Dr Bailey did for my health and she also saw many of the clients of mine that I referred to her when I was in Seattle. They were all very happy with her. The office is clean, comfy and run well and the front office, Jan and anyone else I have dealt with have been awesome. Dr B has been doing this for over 20 years I think since I met her back in the early 90’s when we were both starting out practices. Dr Bailey showed so much compassion and helped me so much. This is the Acupuncturist you want. Trust me.

I have had the privilege of knowing Dr. Baily for 5 years now. I consider her my family as she has helped me through 2 pregnancies and has been instrumental in keeping us all healthy. She is obviously someone I trust as her recommendations has always been the best.
Her products I trust as I had seen firsthand extraordinary results, specially the Yin Chiao Jr for my precious little ones. This product Yin Chiao Jr. has saved our lives over and over with colds and other major flu and viruses. Our pediatrician has been amazed at the speed of recovery for my children which I know was due to taking this miracle herb. Also the Cold Away for adults I use the minute I feel a bit sick and I see immediate respond.
On top of it all, the service and kindness from her and the entire staff always makes our visit even more enjoyable.

This review is well overdue for one of the best Medical Professionals I’ve ever met. Dr. Bailey helped make my dreams come true and I am now 4 months pregnant because of her!
My story: (It’s long but important!) For 3 years I asked my OBGYN to assist me in getting pregnant and she kept saying «just wait, it’ll happen.» I asked her to check my blood, fine. Check my hormone levels, perfect. Do an ultrasound, check check check. For 3 years I was told that everything was «fine» and it’ll happen naturally. I went to a fertility specialist. There, they wanted to put me on Clomid and other drugs to help me ovulate more. Well, ovulation isn’t my issue… everything is normal, so why do I have to take a drug with several terrible side effects? I went to a another specialist and he pushed Clomid on me, just like everyone kept saying. I finally gave in. and I gained 18 lbs and went crazy! Clomid made me psychologically ill. It made me sad and depressed, even worse it mimics the signs of pregnancy so you aren’t even sure if you are pregnant or not. The doctor never really explained how bad it could really be. and when I went back and complained about how I felt, he said «well, next time I’ll just monitor you. Let’s try it again.» Really. Uh.bye.
Months went by and I did research online. I even went back to my OB and asked for her to check all of my hormones and that something may be off. She ran another blood test and same results; everything was normal. She then suggested I take Clomid! I literally wanted to scream because I already told her how horrible the effects were on me! No medical professionals were hearing anything I said…
Online I found out about taking a saliva test. From that site you have to have a medical professional receive the results and read them to you. That’s how I found Dr. Bailey! I called literally 10 offices. If I had a bad vibe, I didn’t make the appointment. I had already seen an acupuncturist before, too, so I was a little weary on whether or not it would be effective; and I had terrible communication issues because the ones I went to had strong accents. Either way, I chose an office that was right by my house. I wasn’t satiated, so I made one more call and that’s when I called Dr. Bailey’s office. Jan answered and literally from me asking one question she said «I can hear it in your voice.» What she was referencing was my sadness from feeling like no one could help me. It was just what I needed from someone at that time and she and I ended up talking for 30 minutes. I told her everything and she was so caring and so sweet. I couldn’t believe it. I ended up setting an appt with Dr. Bailey’s office, in addition to the office that was right near my house. I had to wait because it was Thanksgiving and I was going out of town. I took the saliva test as instructed and mailed it out while on vacation. When I returned, Dr. Bailey took it upon herself to call me. Before my appointment! Why? I have no idea, but it was so kind and sweet. She and I spoke and she was so amazing and patient. Once we spoke, I felt that I didn’t want to go to the other office anymore. I decided to just choose her because I got that feeling from her that I had been looking for. Plus, her office staff was so kind to me and sweet; something you miss in a medical office.
Sooo long story short… I met with Dr. Bailey and she was everything I had been searching for. My first appt was very thorough. I had done other research online and started taking supplements and Dr. Bailey knew every single one and agreed that it was good that I was taking them. Finally I felt Validated. She and I discussed my medical background, too. She also gave me some herbs to help me out. The saliva test indicated I needed Progesterone, which I got from Dr. Bailey’s office, too. (Meanwhile, 3 docs couldn’t discover that, including 2 fertility docs)
After literally 1.5 MONTHS I WAS PREGNANT!!! I saw Dr. Bailey in December, my hubby and I conceived NATURALLY on January 31! (yes, I do know the conception date!!)
I believe Dr. Bailey was my only hope to get pregnant and I know it was her practice and her herbs/​progesterone that got me there! I can’t wait to put my baby’s pic on her wall! I love love love this office!
I can’t thank them enough and I hope no one waits as long as I did to go see her. She is truly the best!!!

I have been going to Dr. Bailey for years. It started off with infertility and transitioned to pain management. I can’t say enough good things about bedside manner to results. I am especially «into» Eastern methods with an understanding that Western medicine has it’s place too. It’s a heritage thing. I get it but not all folks will which is why I think the couple of sad reviews were based on lack of understanding of Eastern philosophy. An acupuncturist is not an MD and never claimed to be. I always leave the office feeling well rested and after a good night’s sleep the outcome is obvious. By the way, you can choose whether or not you want to purchase the herbs at the office. I hope that you will strongly consider Dr. Bailey as your acupuncturist or at least be open to finding one that you feel comfortable with because acupuncture is a wonderful medication free alternative.

Dr. Bailey is a life saver! I was 36weeks pregnant and had a pinched sciatic nerve. My OB didn’t have any solutions for me that were safe for baby and could help relieve the pain. I could barely walk and thought I would be wheelchair bound for the last few weeks. I was nervous to go to an acupuncturist. I had never tried one before and being so pregnant I had reservations. I am SO glad I tried her out. Literally was able to walk off the table when she was done with my treatment and I have been walking fine ever since– currently 39 weeks pregnant and feeling so much better. I am sending EVERYONE I know to her.

You know that Dr. Bailey is good if you refer your husband to her! ;)
I love how she works with a TEAM of professionals and is willing to refer out to ensure that your overall health and well-​being is maintained.
As a psychotherapist/​counselor, I find Dr. Bailey’s approach very refreshing, because she knows her boundaries of what she can/can’t offer you. Dr. Bailey competes a very through assessment and is able to treat so many people presenting with diverse challenges.
She has referred many of her clients with anxiety, most specifically in the area of fertility. She knows that my work will support hers, and vice versa. Her work is finding the right herb or acupuncture treatment, and she is EXPERT in this, where you can feel relaxed as a result (just read the other reviews here on Unilocal,from people who were willing to take the time to write them). In turn, it’s YOU who benefits.
Go see her. You will be happy that you did!

Dr. Bailey is absolutely fabulous. I was really nervous my first visit but she completed explained everything, It took about 4 sessions before the pain in my back left but it was totally worth every dollar. I read some of the reviews and want to emphasis she’s not just for fertility treatments but pain management also. Love her!

Dr. Bailey is incredibly knowledgable and caring at the same time. I saw her as part of my infertility treatment and she was always really helpful. I felt so relaxed leaving her office, and it made me feel better to get another opinion from someone who’s seen lots of infertility patients.
She was incredibly accomodating, coming in early and on Sunday to treat me at the appropriate time.

Dr. Bailey is absolutely amazing. I leave the office feeling awesome each time.

My initial impression from the person who answered the phone was. a bit too overwhelming on the friendly side. It was hard to get a word in. This person was definitely nice, but there is such a thing as TOO FRIENDLY. She said she felt she knew me my whole life and I shared NOTHING about myself. A bit weird, sorry.

Billing and insurance sounded far too complicated and intimidating. I need the SIMPLE explanation please.

The front desk gave me completely wrong information about the costs and insurance coverage! And worse, the doctor provided no help and really no services– aside from a lecture and condescending conversation.
I was told she had knowledge and experience with children, and yet she never saw my child (nor asked to) but provided plenty of unwanted, outdated parenting advice.
I am only grateful that I didn’t listen to this uncompassionate doctor and found someone who could and did help our family.
Although others have had good experiences, I will never return to this office.

I met Dr. Bailey yesterday for the first time and am already a huge fan. I was referred to her by a friend of mine, and am so glad that I made an appointment. Since it was my first appointment with her, she spent a lot of time with me… first having a CONVERSATION about why I came to see her, and then giving me acupuncture. The appointment lasted for a little over 2 hours.
Dr. Bailey is very knowledgeable. She knows TCM and acupuncture inside and out, and has so much expertise in how to stay healthy. I’m pretty well-​informed about how TCM and acupuncture work and she was kind enough to just talk with me and share, instead of talking at me or down to me, as some other doctors I have met with do. She was also extremely gentle about the acupuncture treatment. I’ve had acupuncture before, so it wasn’t new or overwhelming for me, but I want to point out specifically that she was so great about working with my body. And lastly, Dr. Bailey is a genuinely kind person. I felt cared for, not like just another appointment. She took care of me and the treatment she did has made me feel 1000 times better than I did before I saw her, and she was also very fair about what I need to do to help with healing. She’s one of the best, and her prices are very reasonable.
Oh! And Jan, who is the office assistant, is also a really sweet person. they both made me feel comfortable, comforted, and hopeful… healing not just my body by also my spirits.

I met Dr. Tracey Bailey back in the early 90’s when she was back from China and starting her practice here. I have been a patient myself and referred many patients. We have quite a few clients in common as I am a Clinical Nutritionist in Redondo Beach. Dr Bailey is professional and has a real gift for acupuncture and healing. I hear great things from my clients about her treatments and she has a great selection of herbs in her clinic. The only negative I have ever heard from a client was that she was really booked up and it took awhile to get an appointment. I never had that problem and I would say that is a testament to good service to be so busy. Dr. Bailey and I worked on a treatment team with a local Pain clinic along with many other practitioners to help a patient suffering with several different issues. I felt that the combination of acupuncture (from Dr. Bailey), nutrition (from me, Juli Keene, CN, chiropractic (from Dr Sara Kiley at Pro Health), Therapy from (Barbara Del Vico) and Pain Management from (Dr Rick Chavez) was a great success. The patient reported much less pain due to treatment from Dr’s Bailey, Kiley and Chavez, less trauma symptoms due to treatment with Barbara Del Vic and, a significant weight loss and change in eating habits which she said at last check she had kept up on. This patient came from Canada to work with this treatment team. The work was intensive but I think it worked well. I was impressed by Dr Bailey’s knowledge and professionalism. I think we were all able to work as an integrative team, and use an effective blend of traditional/​Western and Integrative/​Eastern and Alternative modalities which I choose to call a «Holistic Healing Approach». I have heard that Dr. Bailey does mainly fertility treatment these days but I can’t think of a better acupuncturist to refer my clients to. Great job Tracey. I also love that there is no Ego problem with Dr. B, as I have seen with some other acupuncturists in the last 10 years or so.

Dr Tracey & her crew are awesome! It is such a pleasant experience so pleasant experience from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave. They always make me feel better & have been seeing them for several years now for cold, flu, stress relief, fertility, & muscle pain. Thanks dr Bailey & team!
