Mystical Joy is such a fantastic place and store to buy things and to learn about Tarot Cards, Astrology, Palmistry, or to get a personal reading from Joy. Joy is the type of person that immediately puts you at ease which I find to be uncanny. I am currently taking one of her Tarot Card Reading classes that I attend once per week and I find her to be an exceptional educator.

This place was amazing! Our tarot reading was perfection. We did a couples reading for 50 $ for 30 mins. It was worth every penny. It even made my boyfriend emotional, which is rare! The lady who read our cards was very cute and sweet. We will be back!

Great and, yes a little pricey, but definitely worth it. The woman who did my reading was nice and open and funny. I can truly say I’ll go back whenever I can (*^_​^*)

I love the shop it’s so beautiful and peaceful, I can spend all day here. Joy is a joy her readings the real deal. She will always tell you the truth even if it’s not what you want to hear. She’s a very nurturing and healing reader. I definitely recommend getting your astrology chart done with a reading. You will not be disappointed go check this place out!!!

This place is wonderful. I can not speak about tarot card readings or things of that nature because I go here for all my oils, she has such a great selection of pachouli oil for an excellent price, can’t beat it anywhere, the atmosphere is great and Joy is so positive and kind.

I was a little doubtful going in, but Joy quashed all those doubts. She hit so many random points that make up who I am and what I’m going through in my life. I felt comfortable and comforted by her. I will definitely go back.

I have had negative readings in the past so I was skeptical to getting a reading again, boy am I glad I did. My reading was so positive, so on track with everything that has been going on in my life and made me feel really content about where I was, and where I was headed. Joy was so compassionate, insightful and intuitive. I would 1000% go back for a reading and tell my friends to go there as well.

Everyone needs a little Joy in their life. I immediately had a connection when I first walked in the door. Joy is kind in her readings, and I look forward to when I am in the south bay area to stop in for a visit. I have had many readings with her, and everything she has told me has come to be true. I am thankful to have found her.

Joy is a wonderful woman and she really does try and she means well. However, we did not connect at all. Everything she «read» about me was so off base and the complete opposite. I felt she started feeling frantic and began grasping at anything to try to find something. I felt so bad for her as nothing she said was even close to describing me or any situation (personal, financial, or career). I said that perhaps my perceptions of myself was inaccurate so that perhaps she was correct. I felt bad that she was so off course. I so wanted her to be right on something but she couldn’t find anything.
Re: finances. I’m having a bad year financially. Um, nope. Probably having one of my best years ever.
Re: career. I’m going to have a big change, layoff, change in position, new project, new boss, etc. Um, nope. I’m self-​employed and happily so, for the past 22 years.
That’s just two examples.
She has a beautiful cat and Joy kept saying that the cat would scratch me so I was not to touch her. Joy was more skittery than the cat. While I waited in the waiting room for my friend, that cat came to me, sat with me, and let me pet it, scratch her head, and rub her belly. That just makes me giggle. That cat was so loving and didn’t even try to scratch me.
If you’re into broad generalities and someone reading into what you tell her (and then running with it to tell you what she thinks you want to hear), then Joy is for you. My friend told me that she confirmed what she already knew but was happy to hear it from a «psychic». So, she definitely does provide a service for some people.
However, if you’re looking for someone who is truly wise and true, save your money and go elsewhere. I’ve worked with people who knew things no one else could about me and will continue to see them. Always good to try something new, but this one was a complete waste of my time and money.

Mystical Joy is not just a store, it’s an experience. The soothing & inviting music draws you in. Once inside the bright & colorful décor, the inventory and the scent floating through the air makes you want to stay.
I asked about the scent and a petite angelic looking blonde woman handed me a free sample of ‘Temple Incense.’ The angel was the owner, Joy. I then decided to book a reading with her.
My reading was beautiful. Joy’s loving & compassionate nature was just what I needed. The way she read the cards was insightful, helpful and she knew things about me that she could not have know without being a truly gifted psychic. At the end of the reading Joy read an ‘angel’ card for me. I felt like I had been given my own personal guardian angel! Then, as I came out of the reading room there were statues of ‘Our Lady of Guadalupe’ & ‘The Virgin Mary’ on a counter looking at me! This was just more confirmation that I walked into the right place!

I went in looking for something astrology related to hang on my wall that I saw maybe a year ago that was amazing! (so amazing they probably sold it) when I didn’t see it I started walking around and encountered some crystals on a table. I didn’t want to touch because some places don’t like it when crystals are touched but joy walked over and helped us and placed the piece of fluorite I was looking at in my hand and wow! The energy and love that was in the crystal was pretty amazing. I walked around looking at other pieces while holding that crystal and knew it had to come home with me. At the very end joy gave me a purple pen (my favorite color!) And the beautiful fluorite piece wrapped in lovely paper.

I’ve been blessed to know Joy, both on a business as well as personal level now for nearly five years on a chance encounter in Beverly Hills back in 2009. Joy is a highly compassionate person, smart, insightful, caring and puts all of her passion into whatever she does.
Her prophetic skilset is second to none! She can read a person like no other and tell you things about that only you know and things even you may not want others to know, but rest assured you will grow as a result.
Her shop is a well oiled machine, set off the banks of PCH in Redondo, adjacent to where we both live. I credit Joy for many things: Giving me wisdom, insight, when to say in a situation and when to get out. Joy gave me the impetus to move to Redondo at a period of my life when I needed healing. Now in 2014 I will be leaving, due to in large part the advice she gave me above. As a Christian I do not personally subscribe to crystals, statues, or well as other trappings of the material and the spirit world, however that does not mean I don’t respect the power of them or what Joy does to leverage them in her readings. I simply believe in worshiping the creator over the created.
If however these techniques do speak to you then Joy is one of the finest to go and have your hora or future read. She takes the time to get to know you on all levels. Additionally if you are fortunate to befriend her you are double blessed indeed. Many do not know the personal as well as financial sacrifices Joy has made in order to make this store and it’s giftings a reality. She has literally put everything into it and I fully believe god wants her to utilize the talents he gave her to help the kingdom.
