History

Established in 1999.

Redondo Dog is a family owned and operated business, originally called Kool Dog Kafe. What started as a dog bakery and dog boutique quickly expanded to include dog grooming and eventually dog walking services. Owners Mark and Azalea, husband and wife, were drawn to the pet industry for their connection with dogs and their passion for sharing this joy with others. Redondo Dog has come a long way and adapted to the changing environment but its family roots remain the same.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Mark and Azalea were just friends in middle school but years later they connected on Facebook and became husband and wife. They were drawn to the pet industry for their connection with dogs and their passion for sharing this joy with others.

Mark was helping out part time as a teenager in the boutique and the grooming salon with his mother. Mark had such a great time, he decided to take on Redondo Dog as a full-​time venture as soon as he graduated high school. Many of their clients witnessed Mark grow over the years from a teen to an adult.

Azalea, who was focused on her children and career in the fitness industry, realized her fondness towards animals at an early age. She now channels her enthusiasm into dog walking and assistance in the grooming salon in her spare time.

Mark and Azalea were married in 2013 and have started a growing family of their own, including children and pets.
