History

Established in 2013.

Daniel and his wife Meg knew they would one day be sent to the South Bay.

In January of 2013, at the clear leading of the Holy Spirit, Daniel and Meg left their previous church with a blessing, and started meeting with a core team of a few young adults, commuting from Orange County and East Los Angeles.

The first official worship service was held on May 5^th, 2013, in a small building in North Torrance. Immediately, the church began to grow quickly as the Holy Spirit was «bringing hearts back to God». People from all walks of life came together to form a very diverse congregation with over twenty nationalities represented! During the next two years, the church moved five times in efforts to facilitate the growth!

In the Fall of 2015, the church went through a name change from Blessed South Bay to Jesus Center, and became one church in two locations: Jesus Center Torrance and Jesus Center Redondo Beach. We are adding a third location, Jesus Center San Pedro, this coming January.

Business Owner

Daniel H. Park, grew up in Southern California and has been preaching and teaching since he was 15 years old. Since then, he has ministered in many churches, conferences, youth events, and revival meetings in the U.S. and abroad. He holds a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Talbot Theological Seminary. Daniel served as an associate pastor in Orange County for 8 years, and now serves as the founding and senior pastor of the Jesus Center — based in the South Bay of Los Angeles. He is the author of eight books.
