J Flowers

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for them yet. I totally thought I had. Well, just in time for my one year anniversary — one year since they did my wedding flowers — here we go!
I went into J Flowers having a very good idea what I wanted my flowers to look like. All purple. Simple, modern, but luxurious. Jenny helped me choose the best kinds of flowers for what I wanted and then completely made my vision a reality. She was so patient as I changed my mind and changed it back and then changed again during our two meetings. She was the sweetest woman too, even giving me an arrangement in my colors to thank me for booking with them.
On the day of, everything looked absolutely gorgeous. I could not have been more pleased. My mom keeps saying that for whatever our next event is, she wants to order flowers from J Flowers because she loved them so much too… and my mom is hard to please! Now that’s an endorsement!

I hired Janny and J flowers as my wedding reception florist and it’s team did great job with reasonable price range! If you want to find a local dealer whom you can trust and visit regularly so that you can see the sample of your wedding flower, this is the place. She went through details with me several times. In fact, I called her the day before wedding to add some more peony and she was able to manage it! All the flowers are pretty and all of my guests was talking about all the time about the flowers. She arranged small flower ribbons for my cake cutting knife even though I was completely forgot about this. Was so happy :)

**CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP**
The original Korean owner is gone);
I bought the $ 50 for $ 40 voucher on Unilocal,but when I went into the store, they were saying how they don’t get any profit if I use the voucher on Unilocal… Then why have that promotion on Unilocal?My flowers were worth $ 45.50, and obviously I should get some money back since my voucher was worth $ 50. But nope. They just said okay you’re done and didn’t even say thank you. So that’s how you treat customers with vouchers? Like customers who purchase the voucher through Unilocal aren’t even your customers… So shades.
The arrangement of the flowers were nice, but there are so many other floral places I can go to that gives better customer service and actually treats customers (even with vouchers) like customers.
The lady kept saying how expensive the peonies and the flowers arranged were, but according to my best friend, Google, they are normally $ 5 – 10 per stem. So why keep emphasizing how the flowers cost so much more? No thanks I ain’t buying it.
They asked to write a nice Unilocal review, but sorry. Just because we’re both Korean, I write reviews as how it is.

Jenny & Pauline are amazing. We instantly clicked upon our first meeting and I knew they would do all the florals for my wedding within the first 5 minutes of our meeting. I met with them 3 times before my wedding and they made the whole process very easy and stress free. Jenny, the owner is very detail oriented and as sweet as can be. I can’t say enough good things about J Flowers. Will be back.

Fantastic service. My wife went there a little over 1 year ago for flowers when my father passed. I went there yesterday to buy flowers for my wedding anniversary, and told her about my father’s funeral. The owner remembered my wife and what type of flowers she likes. I bought a wonderful bouquet and the owner picked the flowers based on her recollection of my wife’s tastes. The owner hit a home run as my wife was very pleased. How can a flower store owner provide better service than this? I definitely recommend this store.

I ordered 2 dozen balloons for my son’s birthday party. I paid for them a few days before the event, and paid an additional fee to have them delivered. My party was a few blocks away from the shop and it started at 12. The balloons were supposed to be delivered at 11. I noticed at around 12 o’clock there were no balloons. I called the shop and told them that I was supposed to get balloons delivered at 11 and the lady that answered the phone sounded surprised. She forgot! Then she told me they would be delivered soon. I got them at around 12:30. I only ordered them from here because of the convenience from my venue. I will most likely not order from here again. The cost was a bit high for balloons ($ 40). I have never ordered flowers from here so I can’t comment on that.

Went to this florist shop for my friend’s graduation. although it was very last minute for me to ask such request for them to make a bouquet, they took their time and brought such beautiful one. The service is very, very nice; they are friendly and enthusiastic on what they do. I ought to come again for future celebration and i recommend everyone.

I needed a bouquet of flowers, and I noticed J Flowers had their door open. Even though it was Sunday and their sign said closed, the owner was more than happy to not only allow me to browse, but sold me a $ 35 bouquet for $ 20. That’s how you run a business!

Most Impressive!!! If you are looking for a special twist to your floral gift to that special someone, this definately is the spot. I visited last weekend to get an affordable bouquet for my mom’s dance performance and it was definately the best looking bunch of the entire event! Jenny, the awesome, sweet and cute korean lady helped me with my budget and somehow created the most beautiful mix ever without me even saying much. She knows her stuff to say the least! I provided some photos of my bouquets. The flowers were soo soo fresh and my photos don’t do justice to them.
She will be seeing me as well as my referrals to others from now on.

Came in last minute on a Tuesday to get some flowers and balloons delivered to my wife the next day for her birthday. Jenny was super helpful, she had one arrangement already made in the cooler that I really liked but was a bit on the small side so she added a couple more orchids and lilies and it came out great. My wife even got it before noon!

Great place for best flower in Torrance so far. I’ll def. come back again and again

This place is under new ownership and man has it changed! Kahee who used to have a shop in Lomita is one of the sweetest ladies and her designs are exquisite and prepared with such love. Honestly… you cannot go wrong.
It’s worth a visit inside to see how much this shop has changed. She has really breathed new life into it.

Gosh it is so refreshing to talk to a genuinely nice person over the phone! I don’t know bout all the fuss going on about how their customer service is going down. But one thing for sure. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten better customer service over the phone! Wanted to get a dozen roses but wouldn’t be able to pick them up later so I asked the lady if they ever sell out. She asked me what I meant (I’m assuming English isn’t her first language) so I told her I wouldnt be able to pick up the roses till later. Immediately she said no problem! (enthusiastically) I’ll set a dozen to the side for you. Asked me for all my info. And asked me if I knew where the store was located. I answered yea it is on artesia. She said yes. Artesia and Inglewood but be careful because there are 2 flower shops right next to each other. And then she and I have a lil laugh as I assured her I won’t miss the «j». The lady had the cutest lil laugh! Kinda just made my morning that much better! =]

Been ordering balloons to be delivered from this guy for 12 years now. Great family owned business. Always pleasant and polite! deliveries are always on time!

Absolutely beautiful floral arrangements. Their flowers are always fresh and last for at least a week and a half.
The service is great. Even on busy days they deliver friendly service and take the time to make unique arrangements. (See pictures). Their pricing is a little closer to the expensive side but at the same time the quality of the flowers and presentation is well worth it. In addition to flowers they have different vases you can select your arrangement to be created in or purchase on the side, they have cards, balloons, stuff teddy bears and other stuffed animals as well as local delivery service.
I’m a huge fan of the Oriental Lily, every time my boyfriend gets me a custom made arrangement from them it’s usually made up of pink roses and my favorite Oriental Lily. When I receive them they are first wrapped in a pink decorative paper with the plastic floral wrapping. What’s most special about their arrangements is that they are not pre made, however they do have pre made ones available that are just as beautiful!
The floral shop is located on the busy Southwest corner of Artesia and Inglewood, it’s a little difficult to get in and out of the small parking lot. The only way you would want to approach J’s Flowers going East on Artesia where their only entrance and exit is, there’s no entrance on Inglewood.

Even on valentines morning, I was last minute as always, and walked in around 8:30am. They were busy busy busy, yet there was always someone attentive there if you had any questions on arrangements, prices, and certain flowers. I told them I wasn’t in a big rush, and in about half an hour, I watched over 2 dozen different arrangements going out for delivery and pickup. Shortly after, I was on the road, with a beautiful arrangement, in a beautiful vase, at the price range I had in mind.
My girlfriend said it was the best valentines she’s ever had, her and her mother loved the flowers. For several days was still taking pictures of the roses and arrangement. So the flowers must have been very fresh to last so long.
Overall great experience, nice people, good prices. And I’ll definitely be back for any other floral needs.

I see that there is another business that lists this as «Flower Land and Balloons». I was able to get their business card and the store s actually called J’s Flowers and Balloons. I needed helium for a bunch of balloons and didn’t feel like driving to party city. The Korean owners were super friendly and attentive. I wwas greeted immediately and he blew all of my balloons up for me. Yay, no awkward tank to lug around! The place smelled like lilies so maybe that is why I like the store. The flowers looked fresh and they had a decent selection of gifts and cards. They ship flowers internationally, locally and nationwide. You can also order by phone.

. I went in a few days ago ready to buy because they have an add outside that says $ 20 for a dozen long stem roses. When i asked to purchase the owner told me the price today has tripled because of «„The tsunami in Japan!!!“»” Making the roses 60 instead of 20. Then I point to a dozen roses in the cooler marked at $ 25 and say what about those. The lady says they are from the day before and haven’t been marked up and are old. I walked out at this point feeling like she tried to gouge me and used the death of thousands as the reason for it.
Outside the sign still says $ 20 a dozen.
