Established in 1956.

Gregs Floor Covering has been around since the early fifties. Twin brothers purchased the Company in 1989 from the original owner and over the years Greg’s has had the privilage of covering many a floors for our neighbors. Since becoming a Carpet One Member in the mid 1990’s we have been able to offer a wider variety of flooring as well as superior warranties.

Thanks to these valued customers, our business has become a trusted souce for flooring in the communtiy. We take this seriously and pride ourselfs in giving our best, not just in customer service but through the entire process.

From the moment we walked in the doors at Greg’s, through our carpet installation, we were VERY pleased with Greg’s Carpet One. Becky spent quality time with us deciding what carpet was best for us. She was pleasant and funny. Gary came out a few days later to measure. The estimate was VERY reasonable, lower than our other estimates for nicer carpet with a better warranty! The installation was quick and clean. Greg’s uses their own employees for installation, so that was great. LOCAL, PROFESSIONAL, QUALITY, and AFFORDABLE! What could be better?

I am so happy to know Greg’s Carpet. They have done my floors and carpets and those of my family for decades (really!) and the experience has always been perfect.
The products have been gorgeous, the installation flawless, and the service couldn’t be better. They are currently helping me with a repair, and Gary drove to Santa Fe Springs (where is that???) to pick something up in order to save me the cost of shipping. That’s what you do for family, right?

I’ve used Greg’s a few times now, and about to use them again. They carry everything. They are helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of flooring. They come out to measure and give you a price, and they stick with the price. They do not «sell» you. The workers come in and do the job quickly, correctly and professionally.
They will even let you take large samples home with you.
I could probably get cheaper flooring and cheaper pricing elsewhere, but I like using companies that I can trust to do a very good job, every time. I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about Greg’s Carpet! They were friendly, knowledgable and professional. We had used them to carpet my mother-​in-​laws house and they were wonderful. When it came to our house, we took our time in deciding when to make such a big purchase. They did not pressure us, kept our measurements on hand and, finally, when we were able to swing it, installed our carpet. Their crew moved our furniture and stayed until 7:30 that evening to finish the job — including cleaning up after themselves and asking me if the furniture was put back correctly. Thank you to everyone at Greg’s Carpet One. My home looks beautiful and you were the best.

I did not end up using them, but I felt the need to share via this site. I trust this site to allow a future customer to be informed. I actually had them give me an estimate, and I called them to tell them I was going to use someone else. They immediately copped an attitude. I cannot trust any company that doesn’t maintain a professional attitude. It can be a reflection of the work they do.

I can’t give too much a review as I didn’t wind up using them in the end. But, I did go into the store a few times and had them do an in-​home estimate. My first visit in the store was excellent. The sales person walked me through wood, laminate and carpet in alot of detail. And, the man who did the estimate was very good and was able to answer all the questions that I had. I even asked him to break out my estimate into 3 options as I hadn’t fully decided on what flooring and what room.
Even though I wound up using someone else, Carpet One was very professional and knowledgable and I would consider them in the future.
