Dr. Greg Shvartsman holds numerous years of experience and is highly adapted to shaping his treatment plans around individual patient needs. He is a graduate of University of Washington, Seattle and University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where he obtained his BS and DDS respectively. He has volunteered his time as a dentist on Honduras Mission Trip, Los Angeles Christian Health Center, and Camp Counselor at Camp del Corazon. In addition, he has been the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, UCLA School of Dentistry Excellence in Restorative Dentistry, Venice Select Restorative Award, and more.

A few years back when my dentist from 15 years retired I was left looking for a new dental professional for may family and I. After some less than stelar experiences with several other dentists, we were very fortunate to be introduced to Dr Greg.
From the very first visit — he has been very, kind, gentle and professional. Dr Greg is very knowledgable and patient, answering all questions and taking the time to address all of our dental concerns. Under his guidance, everyone in my family is has finally started flossing regularly, which was a big deal, as flossing quickly had a very positive impact on all our dental health. In fact the experience with this dental practice has been so good, that I travel all the way from the OC for all my dental needs.
The office is located on the top level of a quiet medical building in the hearth of Redondo Beach. There is plenty of parking and the view from each of the patient rooms is amazing. The staff is very nice and efficient. The dental hygienist is also most excellent as she does a great job every time.
After having experience with a number of other dentists and dental practices, I can honestly say that Dr Greg and his team are some of the best in their field and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for great dentist.

Dr. Shvartsman and the entire staff are fantastic! Everyone is very responsive and friendly and makes going to the dentist a little easier for me. Dr. Shvartsman was so helpful when I thought I may have chipped my molar, and being the paranoid individual I am, I was nervous that it was potentially much worse than it was. They got me in immediately to take a look at it and had it taken care of in no time. I really appreciate that level of customer service and am excited that I have such a great dentist so close to home.

About a year ago, I received a letter that my prized dentist Karl Bingemann and his wife had partnered/​sold to a dentist named Greg Shvartsman. I can be a creature of habit, so I was hesitant to transition over without checking for alternatives. Then my jaw/​ear went into max-​pain mode, and it was time to give Dr. Shvartsman a shot.
I had no expectations, though I should have figured Bingemann would not stick his patients with the wrong replacement. With the pain getting too high to handle, around 7:45 or so on a Friday morning I called the office number, and was surprised that someone live answered. I asked if this was an employee of the office or an answering service, and the man said the office. He told me that if I came right away (again, before 8 am no less), the office could X-​Ray and evaluate. I found out later it was Dr. Shvartsman himself who took my call.
Sure enough, only minutes later, Dr. Shvartsman was evaluating my rear (fortunately OK) teeth and scheduling an afternoon full cleaning/​checkup. He did so with charm, expertise and promptness (no waiting room delay). This doctor has my family’s business.

Dr. Shvartsman has been a godsend.
My previous dentist developed health issues and terminated all insurance patients. I found Dr. Shvartsman through my insurance provider’s directory and am in the middle of my 3rd crown with him. He is highly skilled and caring and the rest of the staff help the office run smoothly.
I don’t expect to be switching dentists again and I highly recommend Dr. Shvartsman to anyone.

So glad I found Dr. Greg! First off, the «waiting» room is awesome: big comfy sectional couch, up to date magazines, and free water bottles. But you won’t wait that long — my appointment started promptly on-​time. The panoramic ocean view from the exam room has me actually looking forward to my next time in the chair! Most importantly, Dr. Greg gives you all of your options, listens to what you want, and delivers exceptional, detail-​oriented work. I went in to get my two front teeth fixed, and Dr. Greg bonded them to perfection! I’m all smiles a day later and have the perfect front teeth for those smiles! :-)

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Shvartsman when I was looking for a new dentist in the South Bay area. I couldn’t be more pleased!
Dr. Shvartsman has excellent bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and went over my current xrays as well as long term dental goals in detail. I felt very comfortable during the consult, as he did not make the visit feel rushed unlike my prior dentists. I didn’t need any work on this visit, but I did get an excellent cleaning from his hygienist while enjoying that beautiful ocean view. I will definitely be back for future checkups. DR. Bingamann is great but i have to say now that ive met Dr. Shvartsman I’m beyond thrilled to have a new dentist. Dr. S is clearly knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining things. He gave me some insights about my grinding that I had not heard before. Staff is still super nice as always. Just wanted to give 2 thumbs up after meeting Dr. Shvartsman!

No question that Dr Bingamann is at the very very pinnacle of his profession, and certainly the most outstanding dentist I’ve ever had. Redondo Beach is truly fortunate to have Dr. Bingamann. I trust him 100% for his intelligence, and depth of knowledge about his field. But I also trust him cause it’s obvious he really cares about his patients (i now that sounds cliché but it’s true), which is why he takes the time to really explain what he is doing, etc. I wish he could be cloned into every other kind of doctor so the only one I’d ever have to see would be him. Of course I love his office too, with the great views. And I am waiting to get an appointment during magic hour for the beautiful Pacific sunset views from his dental chair ;-) And, his entire staff, and especially Janet his hygienist, just make each visit something to look forward to, which I am sure is not what 99.9% of dental patients say about visiting their dentists.

Upon suggestion of my awesome Unilocalette (Natalie), I switched dentists and went to see Dr. Bingmann. It was a wise decision…
The Dr. is a very personable guy, he knows his stuff, and he went over procedures /​requirements with me. He is very straightforward. Unlike prior dentists that dump a whole lot of guilt on you and make you feel terrible for only brushing 2x a day, Dr. Bingmann assessed my habits, made a few suggestions, and moved on.
He was happy with my existing X-​Rays, and did a cleaning and polishing, and then he was off to go surfing in the beautiful evening… I cannot blame him for wanting to get out there in the sun!
The office is convenient, plenty of parking, and the exam rooms have a great view of the ocean in Redondo.
The front office staff was well organized, there was very little paperwork, and this visit was covered under insurance with no dental co-​pay, and I wasn’t conned into any expensive add-ons…so awesome!
I cannot say enough good things about this dentists office… I am very glad I switched!

This was probably my best dental experience, from the front office staff to the Doctor, everyone was polite, professional and very genuine and warm. Dr. Bingenmann has a wonderful bedside manner. He is efficient and thorough and my teeth feel great!

The receptionsit always knew my name & said hi! she never got mad at me being late…
The dental assitant, karen, was a family freind and we had the best conversations. she is just amazingly sweet and was always excited to see me.
As for the dentist, he was always laidback, and never seemd to worry at all.
My most favorite thing about this dentist office is the GORGEOUS view of the beach. Instaed of looking at boring paintings or the ceiling like in other dentists’ offices. I was able to have this huge view of the sun setting… i loved it. Now my mom changed my health insurance or something so i have to go to another one. :(It truly made me miss my old dentist.

Dr. Bingmann knows his stuff! He’s really nice, patient & gentle. He took the time to answer any questions or concerns I might have had and expertly tolerated my giggles.
I got a filling and six sealants yesterday, nothing hurt at all. Even the anesthetic (aka giant needle) part went smoothly and as painlessly as possible. Today everything looks and feels great!
Also, on top of great services you get a killer ocean view during your visit!
