Fresh Window Tint

I’ve been wanting to get my windows tinted since the first time I purchased my car… about five years ago. Yes, I’ve waited way… too…long.
It was a Friday evening (1÷29÷16) about 5 minutes before the business was scheduled to close. I called hoping I could leave a voicemail (since no one actually really wants to pick up a call a few minutes before closing), but to my surprise, a very friendly and helpful man picked up by the name of Jesse.
I asked him how much it would cost to tint five windows on a 2011 Toyota Camry. He gave me a super reasonable quote. I asked if I could come in tomorrow (1÷30÷16) around 9 or 10 a.m. He replied that he’s all booked up, but will give me a call if anything changes (since he said it has happened before).
Lo and behold, I got a call from Jesse around 8 a.m. the next day (waking me up from my sleep, which is the only day that I get to sleep in out of the week lol). He told me that his client canceled the 8 a.m. appointment and wondered if I could come in.
After putting off my tint for five years, I knew this was a sign from the man above. I replied with, «yes, I’ll be there soon.» I jumped in the shower and was there within an hour.
Jesse greeted me with a solid handshake. He asked me what density of tint I wanted and educated me about the type of film that they used. He told me that films are based on preference some may use tint as a way to protect themselves from the sun, while others use the tint for privacy.
I live in Los Angeles and the weather is almost always perfect. The sun didn’t concern me as much as strangers peeking into my car. I opted to go to with privacy, enough so that I won’t get pulled over, of course. I went with the 35%.
I waited in a nice lobby area with fresh paint and nice scented lit candles. It was a nice atmosphere and everyone who I’ve interacted with were true professionals.
Oh, why the four and not five stars, you ask? Well, when it came time for payment, I was told that if I used my credit card, there would be a 9% fee on top of my price quote. Jesse had to drive me to the nearest ATM to get some cash.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for future tint services. Not only is the quality there, but I could definitely sense a young hard working and professional man who will achieve many great successes in his business endeavors.

Really like this company. Jesse is always acommodating and truthful about time and availability. The quality of work is excellent! We found out about them as a referral from our nephew (did an excellent job on his mustang) and have since taken 2 cars to them. We have referred others as well. Very nice waiting area which makes the wait time completely bearable. I call it the «living room». Me and my honey are now on first name basis with Jesse and the staff. They have 2 customers for life! Try them first and only and ask for JESSE! Thanks fellas!

If you are looking for a GREAT place to get your window tinting, LOOK NO FURTHER! I live 45 minutes away from Redondo Beach, but I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else but Fresh Window Tint! I have been to all 3 of their locations now… They have done two of my own cars, I have referred so many friends here, AND have bought multiple gift certificates for holidays and birthdays.
The service is excellent, the pricing is killer, and the tinting job always comes out perfect. The staff is MORE than accommodating and they will walk you through every step and make you feel so comfortable.
The last time i came in, I was dropped of at my friend’s house, so I could hang there until my car was ready. Jessie, the owner, is what tops it off. He really knows his craft, is SO friendly, professional, and he makes the whole experience nice and easy.

Took my new 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 to get tinted and I got to tell you they did a GREAT JOB!!! The crew was very friendly and they walked me through the benefits of the tint that they carry. I ended up going with Huper Optik and let me tell you I can tell a big difference in heat reduction. You guys must check this place out. I will be back for sure.

I called Jesse on ¹²⁄₃₀ to get my car tinted. He was already booked due to the holidays but suggested a couple times he might be able to squeeze me in. They didn’t work with my schedule, so I told him I’ll just do it another day since I wasn’t in a rush. Throughout the day, I got 3 – 4 calls from a number I didn’t recognize and didn’t pick up. Finally, a voicemail was left, and it turned out to be Jesse. He finished all his jobs early that day and would be able to work on my car. I thought that was very nice of him.
He greeted me as I pulled up, and we chatted about tint options. I just wanted to tiny my front windows since the back already had factory tints (20%). I think he recommended a basic tint since I wasn’t going the whole car. It didn’t make sense to get the more expensive one since I wouldn’t get the full benefit with only the front tinted. I appreciated that he was honest and didn’t try to sell me on the most expensive ones. He also charged me only $ 50, which I thought was a great price!
I think they did a great job matching the factory tint. I can’t tell the difference. I’m a happy customer. I definitely recommend them and would go back for future cars.

The customer service and professionalism extended to me by Jesse and his staff was simply exceptional. From the office to the shop everyone was extremely nice. Jesse is very personable and helped me find the right film for my car and my budget, and answered any question I had. They stand by their word and their work. There was a small crease In the back window the day after getting it tinted, Jesse took the car in the next day no questions asked and fixed it beautifully. I just picked it up and it’s perfect. Quality product, quality service and family owned, can’t ask for much else.

Jesse is easy to work with and talk to. He worked with me on best tint for my affordability. He even fixed the tint that had bubbles a week later. And he hooked up my mom too on her Benz.
I would definitely return to him and his professionalism.

So happy I found this place. Jesse is super informative and was patient with me while I asked 1,000 questions. I never felt pressured into picking a type of tint, and the shop itself is clean and modern. Basically all the positive things that have been said before are true. Well yesterday I got windows tinted for a 2013 Honda Accord. Let me say that as Soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jessie. And as all the other Unilocal reviews he is a very respectable business man. He explained the process and options he had and how much it works. I left the car at around 11 and got it back at 4 (didn’t mind the wait) the car looks fresh with the new tint and the shop is very decent. I was surprised since I had got my 05 tc tinted else where and didn’t get as great job as here. He gives life time warranty and really does hook you up! I will be back to re tint a car here! Great service and definitely recommend this place.
Only bad thing was I arrived and they were jump starting my car, I don’t know how it could of ran out of battery it being a new one but well I guess it happens…

Dropped by Fresh Window Tint on a Monday before Christmas looking for a redo of my existing tint on my 2006 Honda Civic and was greeted by Jesse who was very professional and personable! He took the time to explain the process, my options and what would work best for me and my needs! They removed my old tint and put on a brand new 20% all around the car and it looks amazing! Best tint job and best crew of professionals I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good tint job and great price!

Terrific job by Fresh Window Tint! Jesse was terrific in letting me come in the afternoon of the day I called when my windows needed tinting. This was for my company car so he took care of all the arrangements with my company fleet department. When I arrived, he showed me examples of different tints and made sure I was happy with what my car ended up with. A large comfortable waiting room with drinks, snacks, flat screen tv and wifi was available as I waited for my car to get done. It took barely an hour and a half and what a huge difference it made on the appearance of my car. What a fantastic experience at Fresh Window Tint thanks to a job very well done and outstanding service.

Fresh Window Tint had what I wanted for my Mazda 3 and Jesse was able to fit me in the same day. I opted for the Huper Optik Xtreme tint. I didn’t want to invest in the Huper Optik Ceramic since I plan to sell the car in a few years, but the tint came out great and the wait wasn’t long!
Jesse clearly explains the pros and cons of each type of tint and works with you to find your needs. Poor guy had to deal with a trouble customer while I was there but he remained very professional throughout. If you want an easy tint experience with great benefits (lifetime warranty) then I highly recommend Fresh Window Tint.

I called Jesse over the weekend to schedule an installation appointment at his new Hermosa location. Got the first appointment on Monday morning.
When I got there, Jesse was on site to greet me. The selection at this location is limited due to the relocation. It’s either basic or ultimate. I went with level 2, huper xtreme optik. It’s not ceramic, but it’s still excellent based on performance after a couple days.
Jesse was really patient and explained everything to me. Gave me a fair deal. I’m a happy customer.
Planning on getting the huper ceramic on windshield in a couple months to complete the tint for my car.

Super amazing job, same day turn around on tint removal of our old car. The guys were very nice, the shop is clean, the work was done right and for a very good price. We are definitely going to visit them again when the new car comes in!

The pros? It’s near my house and has a really nice waiting room.
The cons? Everything else. They lost their 3M license for a reason. I only had to tint my front windows, the only thing I asked was that to make sure they wouldn’t be darker than the back windows. They ensured that they wouldn’t be. They turned out much darker. You might think it looks funny to have front windows darker than the back. It does.
They also scratched the door (which isn’t very noticeable and will hopefully buff out, but still shows their lack of skill).
When I took it back to them, the guy who did the original tinting was very considerate. The owner then started out very nice as well, even offered to replace the tint. But then claimed it would be a separate transaction and I’d have to pay again, claiming that he didn’t promise it wouldn’t be darker. Granted, he didn’t. But his employee did.
After accusing me of wanting a free tint job (which I’ve already removed), he even pulled out a wad of bills to «prove» that $ 80 doesn’t mean anything to him. If that doesn’t scream «shady character», I don’t know what does. I had only seen something like that on crappy reality tv.
Bottom line, it’s not worth having to deal with such shady ownership. I wouldn’t trust them with my bike.

I got my windows tinted here in early January. I picked their basic level tint made by a company called Sun Tech. It’s been 4 months now and the tints look nice with no issues.
For the first category tint, their basic level, you are looking at $ 180 with 6 shades to pick from. This will cover all the windows minus the front windshield. The next category is by 3M and that will cost you $ 300. Beyond 3M, there’s another higher category tint by Huper Optik for more.
This is a family business. They have 6 locations and Jesse runs the Manhattan Beach shop. If you pay cash he will give you a small discount. There’s a spacious and clean waiting room on the side with TV, bottled water, and donuts from Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood. The overall tinting process is pretty quick, a couple hours and you’ll have your car back. If you live nearby Jesse can also give you a ride home.
The only reason why I’m not giving my experience a 5 star is because I had to go back and get a bubble/​lint stuck between the tint taken out on one window. After they replaced the tint for that window, there is still a small bubble and lint in 2 different spots on my driver window. It doesn’t bother me too much and it’s smaller than the previous contamination but I know they are there.
Lifetime warranty is offered on all of their tints so if there’s bubbling, peeling or other issues, it is supposedly covered. However, if you paid in cash make sure you keep your original paper/​receipt because you will need that for them to honor the warranty.
