Very professional and knowledgeable. I have used them on two projects in my house and it was a great experience both times.

Recently I hired Mike and his team to install a new TV and update my surround sound system. Mike came to my home and made a number of recommendations including purchasing a new a/​v receiver, control4 remote and Sonos music system. I was very impressed with his installer Isidro who handled most of the installation. His level of detail was very impressive and he was committed to ensuring my satisfaction. Since the install I have had a couple of small issues, they promptly returned my call and helped me resolve the issues over the phone. I would recommend ECS AV to anyone in need of audio video work.

Mike the owner is a nice guy, and his team are good enough for the basics, although a bit unreliable. Biggest problem for us was their lack of expertise in programming for the Control4 automation system that they recommended. They aren’t a registered Control4 dealer, and they subbed out the majority of the programming to a guy in Vegas. We had them back several times to try to fix problems, and in the end we gave up. Their attempt at integration of Sonos music and Lutron lighting was a joke. As they aren’t a registered dealer, they were also unable to easily obtain licenses for the system, which caused more delays.
We hired a registered local dealer/​installer to come in and clean up the mess, and finally we have a system that works as it always should have done. Cost us a bit to fix, but we had already sunk a lot of money into what was supposed to be a custom home integration.
Like I said, they can pull cables and do the basics, but be careful before you trust them to program a complex home automation/​integration.

These guys are fantastic. They gave me a quote for installing a surround sound system in my living room and their quote was cheaper than the previous two company’s I had take a look. They told me it would take about two days but finished in only 1! And they covered every piece of furniture in the room with plastic and made sure they did not leave a spec of dust when they where finished. I had a few questions about my install after they finished and they even agreed to come out on a Saturday to answer all my questions! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Mike and his team are very proffesional. Had them install several tvs in my house and did an excellent job. Even fixed my wifi while they were there even though I hadn’t mentioned it to them before they came out. Can’t wait to use them again. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of audio video work!!!

The guys at Engineered Custom Systems are great! The first experience I had with them was when they installed 3 tvs and a sound system in my business. The installation was quick and painless. They never got in our way and worked around our busy schedule. They did such a superb job that I had them install a home theater system and tvs at my home. I highly recommend Mike and his crew.
