Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Drew Davis is the owner/​operator of Davis In-​Home Care, Inc., a company providing caregivers for residents throughout the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Prior to opening Davis In-​Home Care, Drew ran a successful company providing sales training programs and materials for the automotive industry. However, changes in his family life lead to a redirection of his business life.

As Drew’s step-father’s dementia progressed, he needed increasing help and supervision. Though his mother remained the primary caregiver, the couple hired an agency caregiver for respite care. As his step-​father bonded with the new caregiver, his mother enjoyed much needed, worry-​free time away to pursue her own interests.

Drew saw room for improvement. Experiencing agency care from the family’s perspective proved valuable in learning much about care companies and caregivers. Impressed with its benefits and armed with ideas for improving service, Davis In-​Home Care was open for business in January, 2010.
