Pastrami sandwich rocks! Generous amount of everything basically, so it is definitely a keeper. Good, down-to-earth full flavor in a more than fair price. Service is great too. All to all, a great little place carrying a punch of taste. If you’re around the area and didn’t visit yet, you should.

Quite possibly the most amazing sandwich I’ve ever had. The roll was absolutely perfect. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. I had the Atlantic city sub. Service was quick and friendly and I can’t wait to return.

I’ve driven by this place a thousand times because it is on the way to the apartment that my mom owns and my dad and I have that do maintenance on but today it is the first time going in it. We had to get a drain trap for the sink and didn’t have lunch yet so we went to Big Mike’s and tried out the steak sandwiches. Nice steak sandwiches. Not to moist but not too dry. Also we ordered garlic fries. Pretty good garlic fries and it wasn’t greasy at all(like Dodger Stadium’s garlic fries). Oh yeah if you get the garlic fries, don’t talk to your friends or potential girl/boyfriends until you get some mouth wash… All in all an B+/A-!

This place is the real deal and served one of best subs I’ve had in a long time. I will be returning for another sandwich in the near future. Just a little crowded and hard to get a seat.

I come here once every few weeks for a work lunch. I only order the Philly cheesesteak, so this review is very limited. I’ve never been to Philly, but their cheesesteak is pretty good. Service and food are very inconsistent. On average, the wait isn’t bad, but I’ve had to wait 25 minutes once for a sandwich and some fries. The Philly cheesesteak has ranged from delicious to too salty. The bread is always great though! :) I like this place enough to keep it on my lunch list, especially with some work friends with conservative palates. Prices are a bit high for lunch: $ 12 for a 6″ cheesesteak, plain fries, and drink. The 12″ sandwiches might bring more value for quantity. You should never want more crappy food, but this cheesesteak I don’t mind getting more of.

First time here and absolutely love it. My boyfriend had the cheesesteak and it was very good. I had the pastrami it was good but I liked the cheesesteak better. The fries were fresh and seasoned to perfection. Everything taste right and the prices was right. For both of us cost $ 22. We will be coming back. Just a note to the business maybe fix your wobbly table on the left side of your wall.

Very disappointed that they moved their rewards stamps to one stamp Per sandwich so now When I buy an 18 inch sandwich I only get one stamp what crap is that

Dont ever come here this place is terrible, there supposed to be known for there philly cheese steak and i got one and it was disgusting. Subway taste better. Not to mention the customer service is bad and they make the sandwitch with no gloves. They touch everything the trays there clothes and make the sandwitch at the same time. My gf got the breaded chicken and when i saw it it taste like microwave chicken, the same that they sell at ralphs. I will never ever come back here. I wasted $ 27 for trash food.

WOW! Probably the BEST sandwich I’ve had! I got the combo cheese and mushroom on a toasted bun and beer battered onion rings! Crazy delish! I will come back for sure when on this side of town! Great prices, fast and low key! Soooo yummy!

If you’re craving some philly cheese steaks, Big Mike’s is the answer. Large portions of sandwiches and fries will bombard you when you come by. When you do come by, you have to try out the bacon and cheese whiz fries and a healthy full dosage of philly cheese steak. Opt for the largest size, sure you might not finish but your stomach at 12AM will thank you. Put that sucka in the oven and remenisce your mouth watering 7PM meal. Advice, if you respect your sandwich and not drench it in too much vegetable you might have an even more fantastic time. Don’t get me wrong, vegetables have their place in society and your plate but come on, you’re not getting a philly cheese steak to stay healthy! You’re getting it because you want that heavenly bread, cheese and meat flavor.

Came here at 5:30pm on a Thursday evening. Not busy at all. Ordered a 6 inch steak sandwich served on a steak roll with lettuce tomato pickles and mayo. It was delicious! The meat is nice and tender with a good flavor. Also got a order of garlic fries on the side! They were hot and fresh. They had just the right amount of garlic on them not too garlicky. I will definitely be returning!

Heard great things about this place and wanted a quick easy bite to eat. Placed a take out order of one item and waited over 30 minutes. Not sure if this is typical but I can’t imagine what would take a sandwich shop 30 minutes for one philly cheese steak. The philly cheese steak was worth the wait just plan accordingly.

Excellent Philly cheesesteak . Better than Jersey Mike’s which tastes just a little better than steakums. Done right and quick on excellent fresh subrolls. Got it NE style white American with mayo and pickles. Will go back for sure.

Ordered the mushroom philly steak. It was so good. mmmmmm… the meat, the cheese, the mushroom was just satisfying to my stomach. I usually eat hot sauce with everything, but this sandwich was marinated and just how everything went well together I did not need my hot sauce. If you are in the area it is a must eat place. Also, their fried onion was awesome!

What to consider when eating at Big Mikes: Never EVER consider any of the sandwiches to be plain. The meat alone has flavors. Anything outside of that, you can ask for hot or sweet peppers, grilled onions, tomatoes, different types of cheese options, and tabasco of you really want much more flavor. The price for steak sandwiches range from $ 7 to $ 13 if you get a regular(6-inch), large, or extra large. For a regular steak mushroom garlic parmesan sandwich with a side of onion rings came out to less than $ 12 after tax. There is a «light» option that has no oil added, half the cheese, and the bread is hollowed out. Even then the meat was still a lot! Its a good idea because this plus rings is pretty filling. Finally, enjoy! You definitely get your money’s worth. Remember, you have the freedom to add anything else to a basic steak and cheese sandwich. The options here may seem basic but its pretty awesome.

We stopped here on the way back from a 4th of July weekend trip. We’ve been to the location in El Segundo numerous times, but that location was closing when we were closing in(at 5 on Sunday). But, this location saved us, as they were open until 9PM. I got a mushroom steak, which was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and there was a good portion of mushrooms. My wife and I also shared an order of cheese fries, also very good. The fries seemed fresh cut and there was a perfect amount of cheese that was evenly distributed. Enough to flavor, but not too much to make the last bites soft. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was the very limited parking and the fact that you had to walk around the building to the back alley to access the restroom. They had no hallway and they couldn’t allow patrons to walk through the kitchen for health reasons(which I understand). Just bad planning for a place with a public restroom.

Very tasty subs but last time I came I was a liiiiittle disappointed. I love their tuna here and the first time I had it, I got it with pepperoncinis and they piled ‘em on. It was delicious. I came over the weekend and ordered the same thing but I got just two measly strips of peppers! Maybe I need to ask for extra or something. Previously I’ve also has the cheesesteak plate and the roast beef as well as their fries. Everything has always been tasty so no complaints on quality of food. It’s not really in my neck of the woods so I can’t say I’ll be a regular here but if I’m in the area, I still might stop by for a bite to eat.

I first off want to thank all the Unilocalers who once again got it spot on. Yes I Unilocaled this place, read the reviews and my tummy was hungry for a Philly Steak. So off I went on my little journey down to Big Mike’s. Big Mike’s is a small hole in the wall place. You do know that most of the best places are like this. Big Mike’s Philly Steak is or shall I say, «WAS» packed with meat cheese, and all the toppings I wanted. You could get your pump on with the weight of this baby. The taste was so good that I had to grab the paper thingy that it was sitting on and squeeze all the meat that fell out and eat it right off the paper. Yes it was that good. I should of listened to Ty D of his review of the french fries(the regular one) and just not even have tried them but I’m a glutton for punishment and ordered them. It wasn’t limp but they were very dry and not tasty at all. I kind of reminded me of a famous burger place’s fries which are not that good either. Maybe I will try their chips or onion rings instead.

Really good sandwich. I have tried the cold Italian sub and the cold hogie Atlantic with spicy peppers. Both sandwiches are delicious. I would recommended the hogie Atlantic. The spices add a great tough to the flavor and overall«yumm-ness» to the sandwich. I would def recommend this place for anyone in search of a nice lunch time spot!
