Specialties

We’re Bob and Mark and our band’s called B.A.R.K. (Beats and Rhymes For Kids). We’re a storytelling/​musical duo for kids and their parents. With a mixture of original tracks and revamped classics, our musical performances are a totally interactive experience. We love getting the instruments in the kid’s hands to help us out! History

Established in 2011.

B.A.R.K. (Beats and Rhymes For Kids) formed in 2011, when illustrator/​drummer Bob and writer/​guitarist Mark decided to start making musical books for kids. Self-​classified as «One-​car-​garage kid’s folk rock» they are currently playing kid’s shows for hire and adapting one of their original tunes «The Itsy Bitsy Backstory», for a book and musical story app.

We had such an amazing time with BARK for my son’s 2nd birthday party. Bob and Mark really know how to entertain all ages from great– grandparents to infants! They included all kids not just the birthday kid and even bring hands on instruments for all! They also were SO easy to contact and communicate with. I definitely will book them again and think anyone looking for entertainment should also!
