Wonderful people selling delicious donuts! The apple fritter was definitely my favorite. It’s got the perfect combination of a crispy and crunchy outside texture with a soft interior. Add in the fact that it’s owned and operated by an extremely friendly family, and you have yourself arguably the best donut shop in town!

I love donuts and till this day, Baker’s Dozen is BYFAR the best donuts around the South Bay.(Krispie Kreme is a given) Cheap, friendly owner, and all around yumminess. Donut holes and apple fritters are my go to!

Known for their apple fritters. Less doughy and more crunchy. I was in the area and this had the most stars so I had to come. The owner was hospitable and answered my questions. I figured there would be customers hanging out but I was the only one in the shop. I ordered two glaze donuts and an apple fritter. I’ll be back again when I’m in this part of town.

Love this donut shop, I come here often. The owner is really nice and friendly, and often throws in an extra donut for free.

So I must say when I came across this little donut shop w great Unilocal reviews I thought it would be the same old tired out donut shop. However the donuts were SO good! They were crispy and crunchy on the outside and yummy and soft inside. Cash only Will be back for the crumb cake donut.

Yes, I am a fan of this sweet little family owned shop. They have just the normal selection of donuts, but they are oh-so-yummy. The best part is they don’t leave that greasy film in your mouth like some donut places, yuck! One time my daughter asked specifically for a pink, rainbow sprinkled cake donut, I asked and they didn’t have any but they went out of their way to grab a pink frosted cake donut and put rainbow sprinkles on it for her, how sweet! Other times they throw in an extra donut. I am happy to support this business in my community.

Plain Jane mom and pops donut shop with average donuts and sandwiches. Below average dripped coffee and they charge you 30 cents for those small coffee mate flavored creamer… really!

Favorite donut shop in the Southbay. Everything is great but the crispy apple fritters are unique and unbelievably delicious.

With so many donut shops in the area, this one stands out as clean, fresh, and friendly. Coffee is good too, and I can always find parking in front. I love the unglazed old fashion, and they have plain croissants for those who don’t have a sweet tooth. Good variety!

Good donuts, good service… nuff said. They’re super smart to not waste time being open late in the evening. They’re only open during daytime hours and I believe they close at 2PM every day. You must be making money and have a big enough clientele that eats lots of donuts to pull that off.

Since the Artesia Donut House closed this is our new go-to donut place in North Redondo. The owners are very friendly and the donuts are VERY good. My favorite is the jelly filled. It is so light and airy. So good! My husband likes the apple fritters. When I picked him up one for Father’s Day the lady working there told me they cook some«extra crispy» and some«medium». She said most people like the extra crispy. That is what I got and my husband was happy! You can’t go wrong here! Super tasty donuts and super friendly staff.

I frequented this location for quite a while. Today, I had a cream-filled donut and there was a long black hair baked into the inside of the donut itself. Never again. ITGOTWORSE: Pulled open a cherry-frosted cake donut. There were little bugs inside. I thought they were vanilla bean flecks until I shined my phone’s flashlight on them. Seriously? Calling the health department in the morning. The health department got back to me and they were preparing food without hair restraints. However, they did not find any bugs on the premises.

Yummy! I got a plain croissant, and there was nothing plain about it! No other croissant I have gotten from a donut shop has been this buttery and perfect. It tasted freshly baked, flaky, and soft. I also got a glazed donut that I was going to save for later, but it didn’t even make it home. The girl at the front counter had a very sweet and friendly demeanor. This place is just a friendly, local establishment in Redondo that I am happy to support. If only there was a donut shop this delightful in Long Beach! I wish every donut shop lived up to this place’s standards. It is nothing fancy, but it is certainly simplicity at its best.

Near perfect… fresh and tasty donuts. I didn’t visit on National Donut day, but I have been going to Bakers Dozen for several years. Thank goodness they aren’t any closer to me, I’d have to fight myself to not eat ‘em everyday. I’m a traditionalist I love plain donuts — frankly the plain donut is how I judge any donut spot… if that plain donut tastes like a tiny sweet cake, with a freshness almost like downy fluff and without that obvious greasy taste of donuts cooked in oil past it’s prime, then THAT donut shop is A-OK in my book. This IS that donut shop. Fast and friendly service and yes they do give you an extra donut, as their name advertises. Croissants are delish, and one of the only treats of which I had one better in my Long Beach favorite Broadway Donuts… but these are a very close second and earn a place on my plate because they’re close which means no drive to Long Beach. I love you Bakers Dozen, I’m so glad your little shop is here!

I came across this place when I was in town one day and was craving a donut. A sweet mom warmly invited me in to the smell of donuts. I got my favorite, a maple bar, and it was wonderful. Fresh, fluffy, and not too sweet. It was exactly what I wanted. If there was anything better than the donut, it was the service. Very friendly and helpful, I felt like I was at home. After a nice conversation, I left with a smile, a satisfied belly and another donut for later. If you’re in the neighborhood, pay them a visit!

Awesome donuts. Awesome service. That’s all you need to know. Don’t let the old exterior fool you, you’d regret not giving this place a chance.

I like well-run small businesses, and this is one of them. It’s a bargain for the ham and cheese croissants. Take them home cold and warm them a little in the toaster oven when you get home. Nice.

So far the best donuts we’ve had in the South Bay(but we’ve only been to a couple of places on Artesia) Nice friendly service too.
