What a great job Steve and his crew did. He was available quickly to give us an estimate after part of our roof came off during a recent rainstorm. His price was fair and his schedule was flexible enough to fit us in quickly before more rain hit. He and his crew worked efficiently and thoroughly to replace our roof. Steve’s paperwork was also excellent so that our insurance company was able to provide compensation immediately. All in all, a great roofing experience. Very professional and very accessible. I pretty much go to Unilocal and review my fellow Unilocalers comments on outfits before I solicit bids on any large home project. Re-​roofing my home was no exception. I got 3 companies from Unilocal with 4 – 5 stars only, no need to talk to lower rated outfits.
Steve, the owner, was my second appointment. He was super friendly, knowledgeable about the codes in my city, confirmed everything the first roofing guy said (as I started to learn the lingo) and added some new information I had not heard. He asked questions, listened to my concerns and new found knowledge, and made me feel like it was not an inspection or condemnation of my awful looking old as sin roof.
He explained the timetable and promised a quote the next day. I had 2 more outfits to interview so I was in no hurry.
After I had interviewed all 4 outfits, Steve was the only one to (1) ask for my business [nice touch] and (2) after he sent the quote did not bug me, he simply said «call me with any questions.»
I went with Steve, even though he was not the lowest, but not the highest either.
I was scheduled for a Monday-​Wednesday job. He guys parked their truck out front on Saturday in preparation for Monday. It was in front of my neighbor’s house, who I told her «they are with me.» Knowing (and possibly liking) your neighbors helps when construction is underway. I had them park in front of my house after they started.
Steve continued constant communication with me throughout the 3 day project. I made some changes mid-​way through construction and his guys were very accommodating with the change orders. Remove Direct TV Dish (have AT&T now) «no problem» — correct duct work from 2 bathrooms exhaust vents [improperly installed] «no problem» — add another damper on my garage (nice addition to vent the garage with two cars in it) «no problem.» I could go on, but since I work mostly from my home office, I guess I could have been viewed as a «pesky homeowner» but Steve and his guys never made me feel that way.
The wife loves it, my neighbors love it, and I would recommend Steve and Accurate Roofing Solutions to anyone that wants a new or repaired roof.

The biggest head of steam for any business owner EVER!!! He is so self centered and does not care to hear what anyone else has to say ever. I suggest that no one ever does any business with this business as you will be told you are wrong no matter what. Now he wants to say I have the wrong company. That’s funny considering I was calling for another house I just bought, but I guess he is just so full of himself that he wants to try to sidestep the issue! I really suggest that no one ever calls this poor excuse for a roofer!

I have a slate roof which is a bit unusual in this part of the country. As a result not everyone is familiar with the work. This was the second time that I had some work done on my roof.
Calling Steve as in the last time was a very pleasant experience and he was quite informative. Quickly he arranged to come to my home and gave a very very reasonable bid. His team did an excellent job completing it.

If you are looking for a competitive, fast, and knowledgeable roofing company, Steve with accurate roofing solution is your man. He came by and went over everything with me up front at the estimate. This included prep work and moving of satellite dish. He is a very honest and thoughtful guy keeping me involved throughout the process. We had a situation where the city inspector wanted to change the roofing materials and wood on the flat Part of our roof and he worked with him to come up with a Less expensive solution that would still satisfy code. Overall, the project was done quicker than projected and ended up looking amazing!

We just replaced our small roof and Steve was fantastic. We had made the mistake of listening to another roofer rather than Steve a year ago, opting to patch the roof instead of replace it. We ended up with a huge amount of water in our living room as a result. We called Steve back and he still honored his quote from a year before. We just had a roof put on by Accurate Roofing Solutions and could not be happier. From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Steve Solberg and his roofing crew.
He initially gave us a very fair estimate. When unexpected work had to be done due to termite damage, the additional charge was minimal. Steve was out everyday to supervise the work, which I thought was pretty impressive. Our roof was put on in a little over 3 days, and it looks GREAT! Btw, the crew left our house spotless, not a nail in sight.

I spent quite awhile researching a roofing company because most of my friends had not had pleasant experiences. I narrowed the options down to 4 and met with each. Steve was by far the clear choice. He was quick to reply and reachable via phone, text & email, which works great with my busy work schedule. He was able to come over early before my husband & I had to leave for work and was willing to schedule our 3 day roof install Thurs-​Sat since that worked better for us. He was very thorough and patient with all our questions. An added bonus was he had done a roof previously in our neighborhood so took my husband on a quick trip to see it! Can’t recommend Steve & his crew highly enough!

Let’s not continue the lying. I have received no email or notice from you nor Unilocal asking for clarification. I have no reason to refresh your memory if you don’t keep good record of your own visits. In addition, since you refused to provide me an estimate, and only told me that you will only replace the entire roof and not repair AFTER you came out to visit, does that jug a memory why you don’t have any paperwork!!!
I have no reason to put a bad review on Unilocal when there are tons of legitimate roof repair and installation companies. You happen to be one that provides sub-​par /​service. I have seen previous negative reviews on your profile but removed, no doubt due to your memory issue. I ask Unilocal to contact me directly to verify the account. Or leave both comments on here for the public to make their own judgement and decision. I am just one person and stated my personal experience with Steve, which is what I thought the intent of Unilocal’s core business.
Further, for the number of years you claimed to have been in business, and you’ve had 5 reviews, ALL positive! That is not suspicious at ALL!

After buying a home that was in dire need of a new roof, we contacted multiple roofing companies to come out for an assessment and an estimate. Steve was the most thorough of the four companies that came out. His explanations of why certain aspects of the roof have failed and his honesty in terms of how much wood we would more than likely need to be replaced made me feel much more comfortable in choosing his company. I knew we were in profession, experienced hands and we’d have the piece of mind for years to come. His crew was quick, thoughtful, and knew their stuff.
Since we have a large home (thus, large roof), Steve worked with us on pricing for the amount of wood that needed to be replaced (there was a huge amount needed due to lack of care by previous owners). They went above and beyond as well by trimming trees and removing an enormous satellite dish bolted to the roof. Definitely impressed that they went as far as painting all the vents and metal areas to match the color we chose. Would highly recommend!

I had a roof which had been exposed because the plywood had warped and needed some dormers put in to ventilate the attic. I called Steve from Accurate Roofing and he was prompt with his appointment and very professional. He quickly submitted a reasonable bid and set up an appointment to get the job done. The crew showed up on time, was courteous and got the job done in the time they stated. They cleaned up the site nicely as well.
Steve was very clear in what needed to be done and did exactly that with no issues whatsoever. Keep in mind I called two other contractors (one never sent their bid and the other «forgot» their ladder). If only all contractors were hassle free like this. I highly recommend Accurate Roofing if you need a roof repair.

It’s difficult to find good and reliable contractors locally. And I’m trying to avoid dealing with the big roofing companies that don’t have their presense locally. And I think it’ll be easier to deal with a local company when you need warranty work done.
Steve was referred to me by one of the general contractors that I have dealt with before. His company is local to the southbay, so it’s easier to make appt and such.
I contacted Steve and he responded promptly, showed up on time for the appointment. He explained to me what he planned to do and answered all the questions. He gave me a verbal quote on the day of the appt. And he dropped off a detailed written quote a few days later. Very professional all the way.
Since roof replacement is a big deal to me, you only get to do it once every decade or two, I don’t want to rush into things. I told him that I was going to get a couple more quotes before I made my decision. So far so good.
I’ll do a follow up, if and when I have the roof replaced.
