I LOVE this store. Sadly it’s now closed, and has been replaced by a music store of all things. They have another location in Seattle, though, so you can get your cool stuff fix there. I was always happy to get some interesting chocolate, random bar of soap, stationary, or jewelry here. It’s like a well-curated museum of interesting little things, but you can buy them! Expensive, but good stuff. I will have to visit their original store now that this outpost is closed.

It’s weird that this store even exists on the same campus as office buildings and a soccer field but hey, that’s Microsoft for you… Anyway, I work on this lovely campus and this store is right smack dab in the middle of all the food-type businesses. What makes this store unique is the sheer amount of lovely trinkets held within its walls. There are small notebooks and gifts. French milled soaps and fine lotions, jewelry and, why I go in here, to check out what new booze decanters they have in stock. They have a nice selection of milk glass cake stands, ribbons and cards too. It is spendy though. The smaller milk glass cake stand is almost a 100 bucks… But I am guessing it serves its purpose of «need a quick gift in a hurry without leaving campus? Head to Watson Kennedy!» If it were just a tad cheaper, I am sure I would buy more of their goods.
