As the son of the best hairdresser in the world I have to say that the hair cut is worth more when your with my mom. Her personal can be singled out from the most nice people. And with my new haircut you should already want to be one of her client. Many complain the wait But its well worth the wait! All and all I’m not being biased because this is my mom I’m telling the plain truth. Thanks for being one of my moms clients and your in good hands.

I think Cookie is great, I wish it was easier to get an evening appointment she is always booked out a week in advance. I am always happy with my cut, she is fast and the prices are great!

Would give 0 stars if possible. This was by far the worst hair experience I’ve ever had and trust me I’ve been to some bad salons. I went to Cookie the first time for a trim, it wasn’t great but it could have been worse. I told her I like my hair angled, not just straight across. Once she was done, it was a blunt straight-​across cut. No angle whatsoever and I had to go home and fix it myself. That should have been my first clue to never come back but then she was telling me how great she is at foils and getting hair really blonde. (My hair is naturally light brown and i had been getting full foils done somewhere else for a few months so my hair was a really nice bleach blonde. My hair is also very long and well taken care of) Anyways I got sucked in to setting up an appointment with her. Long story short, she left the foils in way too long and when I went home I felt my roots and the whole top of my head felt like melted barbie doll hair. Over the next few days, my hair started breaking off. The whole top layer of my hair was nothing but little fried stubs. And this was at the roots where it was breaking off so it was healthy, never bleached hair with no previous damage that she destroyed. This was a year ago when this happened and the broken off hair is still only about 4 inches long when the rest of my hair is waist-​length. I will say that she seems like a really nice person, but really should not have her cosmetology license. Never come here to get your roots done!

I have tried a few places before I started getting my haircuts from Cookie. She is friendly accommodating, very efficient and has figured out quickly how I like my hair cut.
I also use her place for getting ear hair removal. Only reason why it is not a 5 star review is because it is pricier than in the Bay area.

After trying my luck at haircuts at many places, even Gene Juarez did not satisfy at all. finally found my best haircut Salon, Thanks Cookie you gave me a whole new look and Thanks Thuy you are amazing at what you do to, love my nails… my search for a Salon finally ends:)

Poor service. Scheduled with cookie three days in advance. She mistakenly placed me in at a different time. Two others walked in during my thought to be scheduled time. She didn’t care, shrugged it off and didn’t try to solve the issue. I clarified twice the time was 5:30 not 5 as she had me down. My husband gets off work at 5 so I would never have made that appointment. With three small kids it is difficult to fit haircuts into my schedule. It’s appalling how she could have cared less. I had a function to go to this weekend that I was counting on this haircut. I don’t know if she cuts hair well, but I won’t be back b/​c of poor customer service. Thanks cookie.

I’ve been going to Cuc for over 20 years! Even when I have lived outside of the state I would have her do my hair while I was home to visit. I still travel in from Federal Way because she is just that good. I have in the past tried other salons closer to home, but EVERY TIME I go to her afterwards to have her fix the mistakes. She is super fast, affordable, nice and always consistent.

I cannot recommend this salon enough. Cookie can recreate any style you want, quickly and affordably. I’ve been going here for a few years and my only hesitation in referring anyone here is that I want to keep this little gem of a salon to myself! ;)

I have to say, I’m always skeptical when I see consistent five-​star reviews on Unilocal.However, Toppers really does live up to this standard! After a botched haircut at Gene Juarez Academy (never again…), I saw Toppers as my bus passed by on my commute to work. Needless to say, my experience was excellent. Cookie is attentive, skilled, and kind. She was able to fix my hair within 15 minutes and charged half as much as many of the other salons I’ve gone to. I will be returning to Toppers for all of my future cuts. She has my business for life!

I just moved to Redmond after living in West Seattle for a few years and I had an established salon that I frequented regulary over there. After moving I wasn’t looking for a lot — just a place that was quick and had reasonable prices. Basically, I didn’t want to have to go to Gene Juarez.
Hallelujah, I found it!
Cookie is so nice! I genuinely enjoyed our conversation and she gave me the exact cut that I was looking for for $ 30! I was in at 2:30 and out by 3:00 with a shampoo, cut, and style. Fabulous. They also offer manicures and pedicures (spa or not spa), waxing, color, basically anything you would need in the $ 20-​$ 25ish arena.
FYI — they do not take credit cards. I had to run over to the 7 – 11 and get cash. Also, if you want an appointment on a weekend I would recommend calling on Monday. They seem to book up very quickly.

Cookie listens to what you want and gives you suggestions accordingly. She fixed my bluntly chopped hair with great layers and I am very happy that I considered going to her. She is located right next to Bangkok Basil (Thai Restaurant) in Redmond. She does not have a website and mostly works by word of mouth. Prices are reasonable and service is great. You would get an appointment after 2 — 3 days after if you prefer Cookie.

I went back to Cookie for a cut this morning and was just as happy as the first time. It has been a long time and she remembered me, that I was just married and where I went on my honeymoon. I was impressed!
She is so quick and was able to shampoo, cut, blow dry and flat iron my hair all in thirty minutes. It looks great and I am so happy with the results. Plus, it is $ 25!
They also offer pedicures and manicures here too. I am trying that out next.

After jumping around places to get my hair cut for awhile I finally settled with this place and haven’t gone anywhere else since.
Her name — Cookie. Sounds kind of funny but she cuts great hair. When I call in to make an appointment I don’t even have to mention my name and she knows who I am and when she is cutting my hair she will ask me if I want my ‘usual’.
The only downsides of this place is that she is always super busy. Scheduling a appointment probably has a 2 – 3 day wait unless someone canceled something during that day. It’s also kind of hard to find, it’s in a strip mall near an entrance to 520 in redmond. The pricing is very reasonable as well, definitely worth giving a shot if you need your hair cut.

Cookie is awesome. Not only is she super nice and a great stylist but her prices are very reasonable. I made the mistake of going somewhere closer to home and boy, I will never do that again!

Cookie & Thuy are amazing at what they do!
I have been going to both for about 3 yrs and I have never been dissapointed. I have even referred my own mother & co-​workers to them as well. They are both very quick, professional and you can’t find anything better in the area for what less!
Even when I moved an hour north from her Salon I still come in every 6 weeks for a trim. They are both SO worth it and I will never go anywhere ever again!
