I was recommended to come here years and years ago and continue to come back because of their excellent customer service and ability to find answers to fit your needs and budget! I appreciate their staff and their knowledge so much! Thanks for always taking care of me!

It’s too bad they became «Simply Mac.» I used to love calling this store and going here for service over dealing with Bell-​Square, but now it seems I’m forced to head to the mall because I can’t talk to anyone directly at this store, nor can I book an online appointment. It seems that now, they’re just simply a letdown.

Walked in without an appointment on a tuesday afternoon with my laptop that refused to turn on. The guy at the reception was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem with the charger and replaced mine with a new one. No hassle. Very friendly service and i had my macbook pro working back with a new charger and all done with in 15 mins. Highly recommend !

I was really skeptical about going here after reading the reviews, but perhaps the feedback had resolved some of the customer service issues reported on Unilocal.I was greeted promptly, and was very pleased with the informative and helpful person that assisted me. I was shopping iPad’s, and really didn’t realize all of the options. He patiently listened to my needs, then asked questions to help discover the specific situations I had hoped to use it for. I was looking for a movie player, essentially, and didn’t realize the options in streaming vs. downloading, storage size, etc. He was so great, he even checked open box deals for me, and went over differences in getting cellular vs. non repeatedly, as I was unsure as to what would be most cost effective. This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time, so I had to share here. If you’re looking for Apple or Mac products or accessories, or need repairs, give them a shot.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. I’ve gone here twice and both times it took them a while to come help. Both times they treated me as if I was an idiot when I clearly stated what I needed. I am an educated working tech professional. Regardless you should never treat a customer this way.

Editing initial review, since my wife said I was a little harsh. My plan was, if they could at least acknowledge I was in the store before completing my review I would give them one star. I was writing the review standing at the counter waiting to check out. She pointed out that I had interaction with one of their staff before starting the review, albeit he asked me to pardon him as he rushed by. Okay, yes they had the cable I needed and yes I was out within 20 minutes without too much hassle. So in that regard I appreciate them being there. The staff is more interested in selling the hardware, which I get. Take care of the high margin consumers before getting on to the accessories. But in a place like Redmond Town center we expect a little more attention regardless of whether we are buying a 30 dollar cable or a 3000 dollar computer. Makes me think twice about going to Radio Shack, I expect them to be blese, From stores in Redmond Town center I expect better.

The Mac Store is a great local shop. I have stopped in several times for help with my iPhone and laptop (which is an HP). Everyone has always been very friendly and helped with my issue right away. I’ve worked with Matt R several times and he is wonderful! Super friendly and knows what he’s doing. I’ll definitely be going back for future phone/​pc issues.

Today I went to this store and Andrew helped figure out a problem with my IPhone and IPad. Same problem with both. After trying several possible corrections he found the problem and got both working properly. He was professional, skilled and very pleasant to work with. He was patient with this older electronically challenged senior citizen. And he is cute too. Thank you for your expertise.

Absolutely fantastic shop. The staff was laid back, accommodating and actually spoke English (that isn’t a racist remark — most computer people speak tech when I want layman’s). The flat rate for my macpro battery replacement was much less than Apple store’s, the turnaround time was crazy fast and all I had to do was drop off and pick up. Easiest transaction I’ve ever had with technology repair. Andrew and Ryan were straight up gentleman and very efficient. Save yourself a trip to Bel Square and hit the Mac Store. These guys take all the stress out of it.

Great tech support from The MAC store. I had an issue with my hard drive failing and installing a fresh OS X on my 2009 MacBook Pro. They provided world class assistance with my issue (resolved it). I am so grateful to have had a wonderful experience with this store’s employees. Thank you! I will be a returning customer 4sure! :)

They ask for lots of information like email address. Had trouble returning an iPhone cover that they recommended to me that started cracking in only a few months without any drops.

One of the worst customer experiences ever. Took in an IPod 3 Gen. For a replacement battery. Sounds simple right? Go to the ‘experts’ who’s business is apple products, right? Well, with the IPod in his hand for reference we are then sold the wrong battery. Didn’t find this out until I had the IPod disassembled. Now disappointed and disgruntled I take the battery back for a replacement. They don’t have any there on the shelf and have to send for one from a Seattle store. Was told thee business days and they would call when it arrived. Days went by, no phone call, I call the store 10 days later and was told they had not recieved it yet. No other information. I asked if they could get in their system and try and find out where it’s at or what the hang up was. I was told that there was nothing she could do about that and that they would call when it came. Now I’m more disgruntled. I wait another week, no phone call. I call them again. A confused store rep says my package came in two weeks ago and doesn’t know why anybody called me! Are you kidding me?! Seriously! I go down with my reciept in hand walk up to an empty service counter, no reps on the floor, only two reps sitting behind a help counter in the back. One working on a lap top for a customer, the other sitting idle joking with a man and child about mundane stuff. He sees me standing at the front counter, still nobody comes over to help. Keep in mind there’s hardly anybody in the store, maybe three people. Can’t take it any more, I walk over to the two reps, with reciept in hand at eye level. The rep still chit chats with the boy and father. I butted in, «I’ve come for my pick-​up». The stymied rep says ok, takes the reciept and gets on the local computer system. Acts confused, has to ask a couple questions to the other rep who has his hands in lap top he was working on. I reiterated that I was there to pick up my package, that I was told its in. Still confused he asks the other rep what’s what. He was told my package should be in the back on the shelf. Off goes the rep to the back room. Comes back empty handed. I said to myself, «this can’t be happening». Now the other rep excuses himself to the customer he was servicing and goes to the back room with the other guy, now leaving the entire store unattended. They come out and, lo and behold, it’s in his hand. Yay! Now just give it to me and I’ll go away and never come back. Nope not yet, the young rep starts into his computer system again, doesn’t know what to do with the reciept info, has to interrupt the other guy again and ask more questions. The young guy went back to typing something in and then said, «That will be $ 65.65.» I looked at him square and said emphatically, «it’s already bought and paid for!» He looks confused, the other guy corrects him, I’m handed my package, I have to ask for my reciept, I leave.
So, lucky for those customers who have had a positive experience. I did not and will never shop there again and would never recommend this place! Worst customer service ever!

Although not an official Apple shop, this Apple reseller tries to emulate the Apple shop retail experience. There are products out on display for customers to play with and lots of staff milling around, dying to be helpful
The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions about Apple products even though I didn’t make a purchase. As Apple products are cheaper in the USA compared to the UK, I’ll head here if I decide to make a purchase. They deserve my custom

I like this store because they have a decent selection of products for my Apple devices. What was a little off-​putting, was that I was standing in front of a salesperson for a bit and wasn’t offered help. He wasn’t doing anything but standing behind the counter, but he was kind of in his own world. It took me a bit to get his attention. Anyway, another person helped us that was pretty knowledgable and helpful. They helped us open some product packaging so we could hold the items and test them out. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for for my iPad, but they still have an okay variety of things for Apple products. Their new store is much nicer and spacier that the one they had around the corner at the Town Center.

Went in to buy a keyboard/​cover for my iPad 2. I’m the type of person that doesn’t mind not being helped unless I ask for it, but a rep was kind enough to ask me if I had any questions. Unfortunately, and a big reason why I don’t usually ask for help, the rep couldn’t answer any of my questions or help me make a decision between two products because both were «good» and were «pretty much the same».
Oh well. Still a nice store.

We have been customers of the Mac store in the U-​district for years – you couldn’t ask for better service. AND now that we have moved to the Eastside – the Redmond store in no different. Everyone here is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They just installed a new operating system on my MacBook and I couldn’t be happier.
We made the mistake of going to the Apple Store in Bel Square for some issues with our iphones and won’t do that again know that we know they can take care of things here. The employees at the Mac store are much more helpful AND understand the importance customer service. They are never condescending and never make us feel like we are stupid because we don’t know everything there is to know about our computers. I don’t want to spend my life figuring out my computer – I just want it to work! Their prices are good and repair times are fairly quick. I am ecstatic to have a better alternative to the Apple Store. The Mac store can give the Apple store sme serious lessons in customer service!

Went in again despite my last experience. I should have known better. I went in to buy a new iPad (3^rd Gen) 32GB. They didn’t have any 32GB in but said they had plenty of 64GB in black. I said I would think about it and went to lunch. I came back within the hour and a new person said they didn’t have any. I mentioned that the person who helped me before checked and said that they’d had plenty and the only reason I came back was because he said they had more. The new person said that other person was wrong and they didn’t have any. Dumb. I won’t shop here again, I wish I could take back the business I’ve already given them.

Super helpful, saved me money — thought I had to buy a new large screen monitor but it turned out to just be a bad power supply. The only problem I had is that they said they left me 6 messages (even checked my number with them after they said that, convinced that they must have been leaving messages on some other cell phone) but no, they had my number, but I did not receive any messages. I think there was some confusion somewhere and can’t really fault either side — just some sort of miscommunication.
Really pleased that there is a great mac store in Redmond. Talk to Erich — super knowledgeable and helpful!

My search continued for software that I knew to be out of date, but coming here I felt that I could at least find a USB cord that would fit 2 USB ports… wrong! Still dragging my feet I spent about ten minutes looking at the Mac book Pros’ and pined for the day when I’d be able to kick graphic designer/​film production bootah with some powerful new machine…
No old software and no USB cable make Wil a sad sleepy troglodite, so I shuffle out of there for greener pastures…

Looking for an Apple store in Redmond, and don’t want to drive to one in Bellevue, Seattle, or Tukwila? This little establishment at the Redmond Town Center can very well be your lifeline for all things Mac.
They basically have all products that are available as the Apple store. However, much to many people’s pleasure (esp. the non-​Mac having types) is that they seem to concentrate esp. on the iPod side of things like the accessories.
Also a funny story, I asked one clerk how it felt to be an Apple distributor so close to the Microsoft campus. He remarked, «Those folks are incredible. They scoff at our products, yet they ask if they can get a Microsoft discount on our iPods!»
Go figure.
