I spend a lot of time in Home Depot for my business. Great customer service at this location. Always helpful and most importantly helpful in loading my car.

We just moved to Redmond from Ohio and just had a very positive experience with Bob Kelsey, the manager. He made every effort to make sure we were satisfied with the services Home Depot has to offer. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. I recommend this Home Depot!

On the contrary, Lowes used to be not so great, but now SO MUCH better than Home Depot!!! Home Depot had a policy that you can look up your receipts via credit card number, however when the giant breach happened, many people had to change their credit card numbers and then Home Depot did not recognize the new numbers and did not accept the old credit card numbers for returns. Instead they ask you for your license –mind you this is for BRAND NEW UNOPENED EXTRA MERCHANDISE which was left over from our remodel. Home Depot is now taking people’s driver’s license numbers and secretly entering them into a database for ‘return abuse’ but they don’t have a way of tracking the thousands of dollars people spend in there. Great way to thank their customers! HD is out permanently for me and Lowes is now in! HD STINKS!!!

The store is just fine, but I would recommend NEVER using Home Depot to arrange any type of renovation. The contractors they used took MUCH longer to do the job than stated, we never knew when they were going to show up, and did sub-​par work. They also couldn’t seem to coordinate materials and we had to intervene and get some of them ourselves. The shower stall they installed soon began leaking to the adjoining walls and now we ha e black mold. The kitchen faucet was poorly installed and soon became loose. Now we are going to have to have repairs to their work done.

Ordered carpet, they came out and measured, showed up on time — no problem there.
When they called to discuss the measurement and quote — I got a machine that called me, then put me on hold for 10 minutes. I think it’s ridiculous that I got some automated service just to put me on hold to discuss it with a real person 10 minutes later. When I finally got a person on the line they said «How can I help you»?
Well, if they are going to automate things, I would have expected to be greeted with «hello — I have your carpet quote ready for you». Instead I had to give my phone number and name… wait a minute — they called me and should already have it?
This was the first and probably the last time I will use them if this is the way they do things. Maybe I should not expect much more, but somehow I do.
Don’t know how the install will be — I will update the review after it’s done.

Hope you never have to call in for customer service… LONG wait whenever I call. Help on the premises is good.

Cheaper than other places? Look out! Rentals are 10% to 50% higher than Sunbelt, Handy Andy, etc. They prey on people too lazy to let their «fingers do the walking».

We’ve lived in the area a week and have been here three times.
In that period of time we’ve bought a washer and various minor items. Washer experience was simple and easy. We had problems upon install but not the installer’s fault. Issues with our faucets. Installer came out on time and was honest and friendly. Person who sold us the washer in the store did it in under 10 minutes. He was honestly surprised at how quickly we made up our minds and bought a washer right then and there. We did our research online.
I wish they had a deeper selection of eco friendly pest solutions. I could only find one that was close to what I was looking for. Still a good store to go to for home and garden needs.

Poor customer service.
I needed to rent a mower and the only one they had available was broken. Even though the website showed that they had one available. When I arrived, the attendant in the tool department said, «Yeah, I got a mower but I can’t rent it to you because is broken». When I asked him if another store in the area had one available, he answered very rudely — «I don’t you call them». Then he turned around and walked away. I was stunned on how rude this guy was. I will never do business with this store.

The general manager for this store should be fired. 8 employees within 10 feet of a return line 12 people deep and only a single person handling returns. Two sales managers walked around looked and walked away.
I have never seen a more poorly managed store. The management here should be ashamed. This company lowers the overall brand value of the whole chain.
Pathetic.

Tool rentals take FOREVER… Make plans for a lot of extra time to get your tool… Ehhhh

If you buy a gas barbeque here, beware of the poor advice. We were told not to use the «free assembly» but to do it ourselves because the people who do the free assembly don’t care and are sloppy and strip screws and break things. Yikes! Really? We were surprised this older guy said all this– he said it would be easy and we’d be far better off doing it by hand ourselves. Well, that is just BS. This thing was not the simple job he claimed– things were not preassembled in any way. He said the whole top was all ready done in the box. That was a bald faced lie and an attempt to get us to buy it! We assembled our last one and didn’t really want to do another.
SO BEWARE. Maybe even go somewhere else if the salespeople don’t even support the other staff there and tell you they don’t know what they are doing!

Customer service is lacking. We have come here many times and it seems like the staff are typically so busy it’s tough to find someone available to help or on slower days they don’t want to help. My husband had a gift card so we visited the store last night (Thursday) and it was very quiet in the store. While wandering around through the aisles we saw about six Home Depot employees around the store. None of them made eye contact, smiled, or asked if we needed any assistance. Two of them were busy using their smartphones. The other complaint is that it is tough to find specialty items here. The selection is limited so if you want something specific it would be better to go to a plumbing supply store, etc.
On the plus side, it’s nice to have a place nearby in Redmond and when we need a basic hardware item or plant, etc. we can usually find it.

Awesome experiences: staff are friendly, helpful, and informed. Sometimes they have printed articles and reviews on-​hand to help inform product choices.
Ever since buying a house, HD has become an important resource.

Wasn’t too big on this redmond location. maybe they were just raided by customers, but I felt they didn’t have a lot of stuff in stock. Not that I needed any help, I didn’t see a lot of OJ aprons standing around (which BTW is a good thing, b/​c they are managing their labor.) I will probably always be a fan of HD vs LOW for just about everything home related. This definitely isn’t my favorite HD though and I will return to confirm my suspicions.

I always appreciate the service here. Folks ask if you need help, take you to what you are looking for, always able to answer questions. Big box store prices and selection, but hometown helpful attitude.

I love Home Depot! We have purchased all our major appliances here and the buying experience has always been pleasant and pressure-​free. The salespeople have always been knowledgeable, and we’ve never had a problem with the appliances’ delivery, installation, or the items themselves. (About 5 or 6 years ago, we got our fridge here, and dishwasher and microwave. They’re all still going strong).
Due to a recent unfortunate toilet experience (and subsequent water damage to our home), we decided to order new toilets. We immediately knew to get them from HD. We shopped online; it was super easy, there are a TON of choices, the prices are reasonable, and we are expecting them to be delivered this week! Last month, we ordered online a contemporary kitchen faucet (the online selection is way greater than the inventory in store). I had initially gone to the store, though, to talk to the sales guy in the plumbing department. Boy, he knew his stuff! He advised me on what to look for, and what to avoid, and various features of faucets. Oftentimes, nothing beats talking to a real, live person who’s in the know. That chat sure made my online buying experience easier, as I was able to filter down the options. And the faucet was promptly delivered to the store and our plumber installed it in a flash and we LOVE it!
This is our go-​to place for recessed lighting light bulbs and gardening plants and duct tape and appliances and everything in between.

Mehhhh… kind of depressing. Unfortunately the closest place to me to find a lot of common stuff. Weber grill parts? Toilet seat? Cedar for creating a raised bed garden? OK, some of this stuff I could find elsewhere, but it would be a) further away and b) I’m not really sure if they’d have what I need. The real plus about this place is that it’s predictable: you know what they’re going to have.
Stopped by today and there was an employee sitting inside the entrance loudly and sarcastically reciting his «HELLO AND WELCOME TO HOME DEPOT WHERE WE’VE GOT ALL YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT NEEDS»
Classy. Next time I’m going to make an effort to go elsewhere where my business is appreciated.

Home Depot in Redmond is our closest hardware store.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and is able to show you what you need and the right information about it.
The only «negative» I find is, that sometimes I enter through the entrance only to pick up a small thing on that side of the store, but the only tills are at the other end of the store, so you have to walk over there.

This is the kind of place that: you go with the intention of buying one item and you leave the store with 10 items in your hand.
The staff is always so friendly; they are always ready to help you out.
Sometimes my husband ask me to buy thing that I have no clue what it is or what it looks like, but I always go home with the right item.
I like to buy flowers and plants there as well. They have good quality and way cheaper them other nurseries. The items in general have a competitive price as well.
The return policy is great as well. When I return something, the employees don’t treat me like crap. it is always a good experience.
I can tell you I never had a disappointment going to the HD in Redmond and since we are remodeling our house, I will go back there really soon for sure!
