These guys are really great. They came on time, moved super fast and cared about not damaging the house and furniture. Steve even gave me some felt pads to put on the bottom of furniture so it doesn’t scratch the floors. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys! I found them on Unilocal and decided that they were going to be my movers, just based on the other review, and I’m so glad I did! Steve called me back the same day I left a message, and arranged to come over and give me a quote in person. I texted him the address and he confirmed. A 10 minutes walk through of our house and he gave me a quote for 3 men, for 4 hours at $ 135/​hr.
Day before the move, Steve texts me to confirm next day move. They showed up on time and started working. They moved my entire home into the truck in an hour, took 30 minute to drive to the new location and another hour to unload. They didn’t stop working the entire time.
These guys are so friendly and efficient! I wish I had more things for them to move, just so I can hire them again.
I obviously highly recommend these guys for any type of moving needs you may have.

We recently used Steve for a local Redmond, 1 BR move. It was certainly not a complicated job but I was very happy with the result. The final cost came in less than the estimate as the team finished up quickly. No drama. Just great work.

Almost 4 years after my first move with Steve, I find myself moving again. Who do I call? The mover that gave me a 5-​star move the first time.
A second experience as good if not better than the first. Steve even remembered my last move and said that he didn’t even need to come and give me an estimate even though I told him that we had acquired more stuff and furniture.
As usual, he came with his brother and son, and made the move fast, efficiently and painless. The sign on his truck says it all — «The best move you’ll ever make.»

Steve came recommended by Unilocal and almost everyone else. Last time we couldn’t use them as we moved pretty quickly and they were booked (call in advance!) but this time we scheduled weeks ahead, Steve stopped by to do a 10 minute visit to estimate and provided a fair estimate. They showed up in time, worked quickly and finished earlier than expected, thus charging us less than expected (we put the difference towards tips) Nothing was damaged and I was able to handle all the other moving day tasks while they worked — you truly pay for the convenience of not worrying and letting them help you.

Just moved to Redmond, and found Steve on Unilocal.Reviews here are pretty spot on. Steve’s Moving is a family run business; and the 3 man crew consisted of Steve, his brother and his son.
These guys were polite and friendly, and super efficient. They didn’t slack off or take breaks; though our move only took about 2.5 hours. I suspect if the move lasted considerably longer, there would be some expectation of a break in there somewhere.
Price was very reasonable; on par or maybe a bit less than you pay elsewhere. But the efficiency and general likability of these guys makes them a better bargain.
They’re cash and check only, which is probably common. But it would be nice if they accepted credit cards.

Call way in advance and get on his schedule because he is definitely worth it. Steve and his crew will be totally honest, straight forward and friendly. He did a quick walk through, wrote me an estimate, moved all my belongings as carefully as if they were his, and then charged exactly what he had quoted. It doesn’t get any easier.

Honestly, why would you use anyone else but Steve’s moving? I’ve used them several times now and can honestly say I wouldn’t dream of using any other company.
Steve’s moving works on a voicemail system which means they don’t answer the phone during the day. This is actually a GOOD thing. It means Steve and his crew are not wasting time messing around with their cell phones and making appointments while they’re on the job. Rather, they are WORKING and working hard.
They are super fast and super careful and their prices are amazingly reasonable.
Don’t think about this decision. Don’t bother with other moving companies. No matter how you have to shuffle around your schedule to get booked with Steve’s moving, do it! It will be 100% worth it.

After reading the reviews in Unilocal I decided to go with Steve and I am glad I did. They arrived on time, very efficient and no extra fees. They were very careful while moving big furnitures around and the wall and carpet were protected. This is by far the easiest move we had. We will definitely recommend Steve to our friends.

Steve and his team were great. He came out to preview my apartment, gave a reasonable quote, and I was happy with the price.
On moving day they were professional: on time, well prepared, and I had no issues at all. I would use them again.

Truly outstanding! We’ve moved so many times in the past years, and this was the only completely flawless move. The guys showed up at the time agreed, worked their butts off, and finished in fewer hours than originally contracted for. Everything was handled without damage, and they even put bumpers on the front doors to make sure nothing was scuffed. These guys are GREAT!

They moved all my stuff from my old apartment to my new apartment. Just like I paid them to do! They showed up on time, they were quick, polite and efficient. It ended up taking less time AND money ($ 100) then estimated. They are all very friendly, and will try and work you in whenever possible. If you need a weekend move though, I would call super far in advance. I wasn’t on the ball and ended up needing it done on a Tuesday. They showed up at 8 am though, and were completely done, including drive time, by 915 am. Plus, one of the movers, Steve’s son I think, is pretty nice to look at, for any ladies who are interested in some eye candy while moving. It does help a stressful time be just a little less stressful. I would totally use them again for my next move (Which I am hoping won’t be anytime soon).

I HATE giving these guys a review! Because you are then going to call them, keep them even busier, and next time I move they won’t be available!
I have literally used Steve’s Moving 5 times now. And recommended to MANY friends. Casual, small outfit, couple of brothers and a son or two. They are truly the best I have experienced.
Be flexible when calling, they don’t have a big staff, or a phone bank in Manila taking appointments. But they will take care of your stuff like it was their own, can be flexible with offering a couple half days, and I have honestly never had anything broken or scratched.

I hate moving but it has to be done occasionally right? I did most of the moving myself: boxes, small furniture, lamps, all that jazz. However, I didn’t really want to spend the money to rent a box truck, find two buddies to help me for 8 hours and end up sprawled out on the couch for the next two days with back pain.
That’s where Steve’s Moving comes in. I did a quick Unilocal search for movers on the Eastside and found Steve’s. I thought the review count was low but two stellar reviews was pretty good for me to at least try it since all I have for now is cheap Ikea/​Target furniture.
Steve and his son showed up right on time at 7AM and had all 10 – 12 pieces of furniture broken down and out the door in 30 minutes onto his truck. Quick hop to Public Storage and Steve and his son managed to unload and pack the storage space in about 45 minutes. I was pretty happy with that since Steve managed to do some tricks with my mattress and sofa to save a ton of space. Now the storage space is half empty and I’m wondering why I paid for a 10×10 instead of a 10×5 haha.
All in all, solid movers. I’ll probably use them again in a year or so and if I’m still pleased, I’ll re-​rate as 5 :).

Never, in a million years, did I think I would give a moving company 5 stars, but these guys deserve it!
Steve’s Moving is a small, low overheard moving company based on the eastside. He has been in the business for over 38 years, and that experience shows to your advantage.
I got quotes and recommendations from several companies before making my choice. Steve’s quote was HALF of the amount everyone else was charging. I know you get what you pay for at times, but in this case I decided hundreds of dollars was worth the risk.
Moving day — Steve and his crew showed up on time and ready to work. They were nice, efficient, and got me loaded and out the door without any fuss. They took care with my stuff and made sure everything was safe for travel. Got to the new place and they moved me in just as quickly as they had loaded me up.
Moment of truth… time for the bill. as I braced myself for «extra» charges and a different amount than the quote, Steve handed me the bill and I had to sit down. The quote was wrong — wrong as in he charged me LESS than what was quoted. When asked, he told me it was an easy move and took less time than he thought. After a nice tip, they were out the door and I was moved.
Can’t say enough about how great these guys are. He was honest, dependable, and I would recommend him to my closest friend and family.
Their phone message will tell you they are booked up, but leave a message with your dates and Steve will call you back. They fit me in even when they were full, so give them a chance!
