Redmond Square Apartments

We moved here 3 years ago and we have had a pleasant experience. The 1 bedroom apartments have a large kitchen, living area, bedroom, closet, a balcony, and tons of storage space. The apartment complex is clean. Very close to market area and public transit. The management is very responsive to maintenance requests. The management went out of the way on one occasion to accommodate a mail delivery for us. Great experience overall!

Nice, updated, clean apartments — surprisingly quiet. The one bedroom is spacious with a large bathroom, walk in closet, balcony, and open floor plan. Secure building. Good location and friendly staff. Reasonable prices for the area.
Reason to leave out one star — although the building is quiet street noise is pretty loud with cars and sirens, although that is to be expected given the area and have not had to deal with lease updates or move out process yet. Also the rooftop deck area could use some updates — more dining table options and updated furniture.

I lived in Redmond Square Apartments for a year. I honestly really enjoyed the complex, it was very clean & quiet, close to everything but my view changed once we moved out. As I noted I was only there for a year and hardly ever there on the weekends because we traveled a lot. At the end of the year we got back $ 30 of the $ 700 deposit we put down at the beginning of the year. I understand the carpet cleaning and whatnot but they charged us for repainting the entire unit. So the majority of our lost deposit went to supplies & the time it took for the painters to paint. In the lease they clearly state to put down a SECURITY deposit and this is not a security deposit, it is a MAINTENANCE deposit and they charged us to get the apartment ready for the next tenants.
My car was also broken into 3 times in the parking garage, and I didn’t get a call once from management after I left them several messages about it.
Very poor management in the end. It is illegal to put one thing in your lease and then charge tenants for another.

Nice and clean apartments, good management system. Perfect location to leave in. Feel the luxury and comfort. Security and safety is A– One, peace of mind.

I don’t often write negative reviews, but my experience here has been terrible. The onsite management was amazing when I first moved in; however, onsite management has since switched. The new manager has a negative attitude and is very self-​centered. I’m very disappointed. I started with a great experience and it has since evolved into a nightmare. I’m counting down the days till my lease is over so I can escape this place. If management doesn’t bother you, maybe the paper thin walls and poor unit layout will. In the end, please don’t waste your time here. I recommend you look elsewhere. Hope this was helpful.
