Redmond Ecowash

The new guy at this place is doing a wonderful job. He is a lot better then the old person who was working there. He did a great job for my car and he was too polite. He offered to do some extra stuff for my car even if I didn’t pay for it, which was awesome. I will recommended this place to everyone since they had this new guy who does a great job, check them out.

My car was still dirty on the outside and inside. It smells like chemicals. I paid $ 180 with tax and I had to clean my car when I got home. Don’t go here!

So my dog pooped in my car and I am spending way too much money for the detailing. Or at least that’s how I feel. I am not going to compare pricing. I already paid.
Long story short I will post an update when the car is actually finished. 5 stars because they are doing this for me. My car is disgusting right now… and its almost $ 500 total for everything. I gave them a 20% tip of 75 to equal that number. I may regret that later
Emotions are running high. Must stay strong. Will post update when I get car back in 3 to 5 hours.

The car did in fact end up clean. This was a few days ago, car still smells like chemicals but I would be interested to see if it smells of poo later on. I did feel bad for the amount of money I spent. Highly traumatized plus spending monies not always the best decision.
The attention to detail was both great and sort of lack luster. I’m not sure HOW they clean but both this time and last time the ash tray where I keep spare salt packets had been passed over or something and caked down to the bottom.
But also he found a bunch of stuff from under the seats like a credit card, water bottles… etc. He must have taken off the seats like I asked.
OVERALL: been here 2ce, probs will go back if I need too. In town, never busy really.

I’ve used these guys for a while, and they do an amazing job on my cars. But when I went there yesterday, I was looking for a «basic» wash, wax, and vacuum. My car had lots of pollen from being outside all winter/​spring, so I told the guy that I’d be willing to pay a little extra to make sure that was removed. When I came back, he had done a complete detail, and the cost was roughly double what I had signed up for. Not impressed. The car looks fabulous, but it’s not what I wanted to pay for!

I found this place on Unilocal and thought, «wow, what a great location/​idea» So, I called to make an appointment. The guy the answered told me they were usually very busy but, they had an opening at 4:30 the next day. I left work early so that I could make it on time. I got there and no one was there. I figured they were grabbing a coffe or something so, I waited. And waited. I finally called the number on the door, but there was no answer.
I waited until 4:50, when I finally got a phone call. «Hey, you you have an engine cleaning appointment?» Yes. «Oh, the guy didn’t come in. He is sick.»
I asked why I hadn’t received a phone call to cancel?
«I just found out.»
Interesting. The guy didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, didn’t offer another appointment, or a discount.
I am floored. There are at least 10 detail shops within a mile and he doesn’t even want my business? I will be sharing this review with everyone I know.
I went to get my engine steamed, instead I got steaming mad. Which really sucked after sitting in my car, without A/​C, in 86*F weather for 30 minutes.

The place is in a great location. You could easily drop your car off in the parking garage location to be washed while you stroll around in Redmond Town center for entertainment/​shopping. It’s great for eco nuts too.
I used to go here and they did a good job, and I was paying $ 30ish but the cheapest they had when I recently went back was $ 70ish! (He said now because you have to do a wax, before you didn’t have to and I don’t need one) I can no longer afford a car wash here. I started to walk away and he offered me a discount, but it still wasn’t affordable. I now go to a much more realistic priced car wash for the same type of wash for less then what I was paying before.
If you don’t want to give up your shopping time and don’t mind paying extra (or if you always get a wax), then by all means go for it! It takes about 45 minutes from my experience.
