Sadie has been back from grooming routinely now and each time she is beautifully clean, fluffy and at ease. They really do a great job and care deeply about the dogs.

I bring my goldendoodle to get groomed every three months or so. I’ve dropped him off 3 times now and I have loved every cut! Heather takes her time and I can tell that she is fairly detailed. It makes paying 90 $ for my dogs cut worth it. I do wish that they offered some sort of loyal customer discounts, maybe they’ll read this review and consider a punch card of some sorts. I always get asked who grooms my dog and never hesitate to refer them here!
My only complaint is that one time his nails weren’t trimmed because they said it was pretty short already, I was still able to trim off 3 mm or so that night. Otherwise, no complaints here.

The first time I took my dog here they did an amazing job and I was thrilled. They did exactly what I asked for.
The second time a family member dropped him off, and for some reason they shaved my dog’s belly from crotch to ribcage when we asked them to trim his butt — he has long butt fur he tends to poop on if it’s not kept trimmed up a bit. He got a rash from having his hair cut so short, and it was during a cold snap and he was quite chilly.
I decided that possibly my family member had miscommunicated, so the third time I took him in myself and was VERY specific about what I wanted — trim the feet, trim the butt, do not touch any of the hair on his underside.
They trimmed the butt and feet… badly. It looked okay, not great, in the shop but as it’s grown out it’s become jagged and he looks like he was trimmed with a weed whacker. And they also trimmed his belly again despite me explicitly asking them not to. Not short enough to get razorburn this time, but he fussed and licked that area for a week afterwards and it was clearly itchy and unpleasant for him. They also cut the feathering on his forelegs, which I hadn’t said anything about. I thought I was pretty explicit — feet and butt ONLY, do not cut other fur!
I paid for a nail trim but they took maybe 1 mm off each nail. I know he has black nails but they were nowhere near the quick. I had the vet give him a trim a couple days later and they cut off way more without quicking him.
None of this stuff is super egregious but it’s frustrating that they apparently can’t follow instructions, so I won’t be taking him back.

I wish I had never gone to this shop! I took my 14 month old Labradoodle to this shop based on the reviews on Unilocal.This was his first visit. I should have listened to my pups reaction when we arrived. He was shaking, but I dismissed it as just being at the groomer. I picked him up at 4:30 PM on 5÷11÷15. He seemed a little scattered so we went for a walk. The next morning my dog kept licking his penis and then would jump like something bit him, put his tail between his legs and sit down. He continued to do this several times in a short period of time. He then climbed up on my lap (he’s a mid to large size dog) and wouldn’t stop jumping on me every where I went. All of these behaviors are unusual for him. I made a vet apt for the next day.
The vet reviewed my dog stating she see’s that his penis hair was cut and there was a knick. She said she thought it was razor burn after running some tests and expressing his anal glands to ensure that was not the issue. Come to find out my dog had a wound the size of a nickel on his ribs that had started to scab. It was in the place where the groomer had shaved. So not only was his penis hurt but also his rib area.
I called the shop the next day. Casey answered and I explained the situation. I said I wanted to cancel the appts. She became defensive saying the appts were canceled and said bye hanging up. I wasn’t looking for reimbursement for the vet or the appt, but at least a conversation about how she would let the groomer know so it doesn’t happen again or at least an apology. So very disappointed on so many levels! I would not ever recommend this place.

Had my dog sitter take my dogs in for me, for cut and cleaning, had not used this facility before… would never go back. It was the worse hair trimming I’ve ever had… a 10 year old and 1 year old doodle. Just wanted to make sure people are very specific when getting this service.

Heather and crew are wonderful groomers and they really care about the dogs that they groom. The also offer fair pricing for the area which we appreciate. A wonderful local business… check them out!

Best groomer I’ve ever taken my dog to! The employees are so friendly and really know what they’re doing. I have a golden retriever that I like to bathe myself in between taking her to the groomer. As hard as I try I can not get my golden even half as clean as Mutt N Chops does. When I get her back, she doesn’t even smell like a dog anymore. They are so meticulous and their attention to detail is impressive. They treat every dog is if it were their own. My dog loves going there because they are so kind and gentle with her. I definitely recommend taking your pet to this groomer and don’t forget to leave good tip because they deserve it!

After taking my dog, Rogue here for her first groomers experience I am more than pleased. They were extremely helpful and offered advice for the next time she gets groomed. Also, Rogue seemed more than happy to be there. I will definitely have them groom her from now on.

we have two adopted dogs who are easily frightened and very nervous. heather is absolutely amazing with how she can put them at ease and groom them without a muzzle. her gentle, calm demeanor definitely makes them feel safe. and, her prices are very reasonable. highly recommend her as a groomer!

Kacey has done an amazing job every time I’ve brought my corgis in. Both come back well trimmed to stay clean & neat looking for a few weeks; but not shaved like you’ll get at a Petco. Even with the shorter cut, Kacey still keeps features of the breed: fluffy butts & tummies. Heather & crew treat the dogs well & my dogs love going in to see them.
A note: They can be a little hard to find as they’re still starting up. The entrance is under the «Raining Cats and Dogs» signage.

I have always groomed my own dog, but when it comes to trimming his nails, that’s another story! Our guy fights us like we were trying to murder him! We’ve tried several different places, (Petco in Redmond, and Petsmart in Bellevue being the worst!) and were so happy to stumble upon Mutt N Chops Ruff Styles! Heather and Kasey are the Best! You can tell they genuinely love their jobs and best of all our dog loves them! Oh, and did I mention that they were really affordable? Bonus!

I have a skiddish shitzu that always seems to come home from groomers with a choppy shaped hair cut and sometimes even cuts. This is the one any only place that i was thrilled with his hair cut. His ears were even, his face looked soft and round, every nail was clipped to the right length, these seem like simple things to be happy about but its great when he gets a nice cut. The girls behind the counter were super nice and didn’t push any product or extra services on me. If only it were a little closer to my house! I will definitely be going back.

I’ve taken both of my girls in several times and they just love Heather! They are always so happy when they’re done and you can tell they know they look good too! Mutt N Chops are great, we actually take 4 highways and cross two bridges all the way from West Seattle to bring our girls out to see «Auntie Heather» for special occasion cuts. It’s worth it!
