History

Established in 1997.

Originally founded as Therapeutic Massage Clinic, in Kenmore WA, and later establishing a clinic in Bothell, WA., Where Kari Elliott, LMP offered traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. After suffering an injury, and rehabilitating through the development of her own modality, The CARE Approach, Kari changed the business name to more accurately reflect her goal to serve others, and Mission of the Heart Therapy was established in Everett, WA.

Due to high demand created while working in a small room in Bellevue’s Effect Salon, Kari relocated to Kent, WA, first as a guest therapist at O’Neil’s Herbal Apothecary and later as a stand alone studio in Titusville Station.

Sidelined by a serious motor vehicle accident, Mission of the Heart Therapy suspended operations until Kari could recover, then moved to a small studio in Tacoma, WA.

Kari Elliott recently secured a space in Redmond, WA. at Bellevue Natural Health, where she offers bodywork, nutrition, coaching, and ear coning.

Kari Elliott was licensed in Washington State as a Massage Practitioner in 1986,

Always searching for more ways to offer her clients the very best of care, she became and certified ear conologist in 1997.

Her interest in nutrition and improving the internal health along with the exterior framework of the body led Kari to The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she was certified as a Holistic Health Coach in 2011, and then to the Nutritional Therapy Association where became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in 2012.

Her therapeutic skills led to the development of The CARE Approach, a pain-​free modality that relieves or eliminates chronic or acute pain and Unwinds the body for Rapid Recovery. As it had always been apparent to Kari that emotions were often a trigger for pain establishment and storing in the body, she continued her studies to include certification as a Master Life Coach who can skillfully bring patterns to resolution.
