After searching for the right studio and trainer, I found Fit By Design through the recommendation of another client. Early in my life I was in average to good health. Then I had two 2 girls and my family’s needs all came before me and my health goals. I gained some weight having the girls and more over the next few years, so I worked out at the local gym. However, I could not understand why I would not lose weight or get in better condition after all I was doing in the gym and all the calorie cut backs I was making. Once I hit 40 I knew that I needed to get in shape and lose some weight if I was going to have a happy and healthy life.
A neighbor referred me to Carrie and Fit by Design and it has changed my life! With Carrie’s New Leaf Metabolism Assessment I now had the missing link to my fitness goals. I now know how many calories it takes for MY body to survive in a day and I now know how many calories MY body burns during exercise.
