Run, don’t walk, away from this place. We ordered a light colored tile for our bathroom remodel. We got zero help from the staff. The guy at the desk was busy surfing the web and just looked blankly at us. Our contractor, Steve Yeager of Avidtek had recommended them and was with us. Apparently he does a lot of business with them. Steve directed me to an off white tile, as we wanted light color. The sample board showed a little light beige variegation. Steve applied the tile in our small bathroom while we were at work. We got home and saw an ugly wall with a hideous dark brown swirl pattern, that looked like a cheap casino. The tile was nothing like the sample board. A manager came out to look at it and agreed with us! However they took no responsibility for the cost involved to re-​do this. Long story short, it cost us $ 4000 to have Steve tear it down and put up new tile and we are talking a small wall behind a shower. Steve and CFM took no financial responsibility and all CFM did was train Steve to use some new glue backing on the replacement tile, which we could care less about. That was their idea of helping us out. Thanks to CFM and Steve Yeager of Avidtek, I now know the meaning of nightmare bathroom remodel.

Well, I have to provide an update regarding the order handling process.
Oh Redmond CFM Team, how hard is it?
Had to reorder some extra tiles and after a lot of back and forth they found them in their Kent warehouse, at least that’s what they thought. So I drove there today during prime traffic only to find out that they have it in Seattle and not Kent. Minor geographical deviation from space but a real pain down here. It’s really not rocket science to keep proper inventory records but they have a captive audience so I guess they just don’t care.
Anyway if you are looking for tiles their showroom selection is good, ordering is a whole different story.

They provide no customer service and go out of their way to avoid you and brush you off as customers are an annoyance. Pay heed to the warnings of others to AVOID. Very shoddy business.

What a pleasure to shop at CFM. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Choices are amazing.

Contract Furnishing Mart has a great showroom. They tend to get really busy in person and on the phone, so take some time browsing and understand they may not get to you within the first five minutes. After an initial visit, I finally decided on some flooring from the manufacturer, Shaw. Those trying to go less expensive, be cautious, as the stuff coming from China was made with famtldahyde in it. Shaw is US made. Ron was pretty much my sales guy and he was super patient with me. I’m not the most decisive person, and he helped me with both my laminate and carpet. Ordering was super easy, and fortunately my purchase was in stock so we got it next couple of days. Will call was super easy too, and they guys just load it straight into your truck with no hassle! When you pick up your materials, try to be conscientious of the time, and don’t show up 15 minutes before they close. They pack the materials well, and it isn’t fair to them to get a swarm of people before closing.
Tip: showroom stays open on Wednesdays till 7, with limited staffing, but I found the best service at this time. Also, they have a great candy bowl, and I kept going back for more! Once we get to the kitchen portion of our house, I will be back to take advantage of purchasing their gorgeous countertops and tile!

We ordered carpet here in late winter. We were told it was a premium, designer carpet that would wear well in a high traffic area in our home.
It has not worn well at all and there several threads pulled up already. We were also given a price for the upgraded memory foam pad that was incorrect and was several dollars more per square foot than originally stated.
We are disappointed in the quality of the carpet as well as the advice that we received regarding carpet durability. This was our primary reason for upgrading carpet.

As a contractor this is the place I send all my clients to find tile, hardwood and carpet. The staff: Ron, Nancy, Rodney, Jeff, Karen et al. are knowledgeable, helpful and warm.

We have been shopping at this and the Everett store for several years now. Excellent Customer service, combined with great choices of carpets, tiles, etc. make us a come back to this place for all our remodeling needs.

As a designer I am so happy to have found CFM. They are so helpful, organized and such a great resource. I’ll be sending all of my clients here now.
