I wanted to tell u all that this is a genuine review. I ordered the food for my LO’s 1 and 2 nd birthday party. And all the guests were appreciating the food. Their Indian food is just amazingly yumm. They maintain authenticity as well as consistency. Butter paneer masala, chole and paneer briyani was finger smacking. Last birthday party had some issues but this time itz 100% perfect. Paratha’s were just right soft not soggy. Each and every grain of rice from biryani was perfectly cooked. Looking forward for future ventures.

Raised prices yet again(perhaps paying for the downtown rents in Redmond and Hillsboro). Average food compared to the new chaat and snack places that have opened in last two years. As expected there was not a single person sitting at the place whereas it used to be crowded during lunch hours. They try to offer a 10% discount if you work for nearby companies but only if you ask. Still falls short. At one time I was a regular. Now I go there only if other places are more crowded. They became another Mayuri just as I hoped they wouldn’t(read my first review).

My first visit to a indian restaurant in US, I wasn’t expecting such a great service by the guy on register & we ordered parathas along with their famous chole bhature. Both were amazingly delicious. I would always recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Redmond.

The food was actually really great… but… the service… Setting: Summer of 2015 There was no line ahead of me, I ordered right away. I told the cashier that I have kids in the car(relax, my friend was in the car with them) and I just needed the fastest food they could prepare. No problem, they said. I added constraints: one dish has to be onion-free, my friend is allergic, and it can’t be spicy. That’s tricky, but they could do it, they said. FORTY minutes later I finally returned to the car to four screaming, hungry kids, and a friend who might never forgive me. At least three of the kids are hers. After 20 minutes they kept reassuring me my food was almost up. At 30 minutes my friend texted me to just ask for my money back and leave. Instead of doing that they just grabbed whatever dishes were there and stuffed them in a bag and shoved the bag in my arms. We realized later that not all of the dishes were actually ours– everything had onions, nothing was even remotely un-spicy. I couldn’t recognize most of it, even though I had ordered it. So, for a restaurant it wasn’t fast. For street food it’s off the charts slow.(And chaat is street food.) Man, now I’m craving some chaat.

Saw that Bite Squad offered Chaat N Roll as an option with *free delivery*, so I gave it a try. I can’t say anything about the ambiance since this was delivery — but my oh my am I now a Chaat believer. I ordered the Samosa Chaat, which was a little spicy but intensely flavorful. I’m in love.

I liked the taste of food and service when these chat n roll brothers started their restaurant in Bellevue. Its best and awesome flavor and taste among Seattle Indian restaurants. Tried four times in their restaurant in Redmond. Worst service among Seattle indian restaurants. Last two times, got dishes that were stale. Food department must inspect this restaurant. The waiters were lost all the time. Slow in taking the order and getting them to table. No differentiation in getting them to table between appetizer, main course and desert. All comes at same time… This time I ordered biriayni and got a stale one. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he apologized and offered me a complementary to go of the same order. Even though, I said I d’ont need it and just want to leave the place. He requested me to take it. Wow…thought these guys are awesome. But… For his nice polite request, I got it back home and tasted the food.:(.The stale food offered in the Restaurant is better. They have mixed the Veg curry in fresh cooked basmathi rice and gave me as biriyani. :( will never go to the Redmond Chat n roll again. Will visit bellevue though…

Eeks, my review might be a little bias but I have to put it out there. For those of whom not familiar with these legitimate Indian street food, they are very different from what you would get at a regular Indian restaurants. We were completely lost looking at their menu. The cashier helped us out by explaining what each category of food were. He was actually very helpful but the food was just not what I expected. We got a platter meal to share. It came with some curry, this salted eggplant and lentil paste, yogurt dip, and bits of sauces. The curry tasted decent but was cold. The two bites of rice was cold. The eggplant was too salty, but tasted ok, also cold. Were these suppose to be cold dishes? The chatt, was cold baked potato stuffed with lots of sweet sauce and yogurt, sitting in a plate of more yogurt. The potato stuffed nan was actually kind of tasty. The rest of the food was either cold or lukewarm, not very enjoyable IMO. Our dinner here was very unsettling due to tooo much flavors mixed together that don’t traditional go together, mostly sourness from yogurt and sweetness from I don’t know what. Sorry, but will not come back again.

Definitely not worth the money!!! I actually want the owners to read my review. The one in Issaquah is much much better and economical. Pav bhaji is ok but when you look at the price, it is like fooling the customers. Parathas(Indian naans) which are supposedly usually delicious and light on pocket, it is opposite to this when you visit this place. I would suggest to visit some other place to save your time and money.

Came in at 2pm and first time here. I didn’t even know it was a vegetarian place! The menu can be very daunting but they gladly helped me with some recommendations. I went with the Hara Bhara Kabob Chaat. I didn’t quite know what I was getting into but the platter mix of food was absolutely delicious! I have no idea what I just put in my mouth but I ate the whole thing and couldn’t wait to write about it! Mix of some crunch and great flavors and now it’s all gone before I had time to take a picture. Give it a try!

With many Indian food corners, we come in for some special food only. A pure vegetarian place! Shaam Savera Chaat is one of the best chats we had. Lahori Paneer Biryani is something we purchase for our friends but never bought for ourselves. Heard it is good here. Like the Paan shake and Chikoo shake here! Didn’t like the Rolls here!

The four stars are for their ‘Lahori Paneer Biryani’, we absolutely love it and feel it’s arguably the tastiest ‘vegetarian biryani’ on the Eastside. Their chaat is pretty good too, though most of our visits here are for the biryani, we usually do takeaway. It’s an all vegetarian place.

I have ordered four different items and ask all to be mild. But none of them turned out mild, and one of them is extremely spicy. It’s full of artificial flavor and no real chili pepper in the stuffing. The crêpe is too hard to chew. The sauce are flavorless. I got a curry too. The curry is fine, But no rice! How can anyone have curry without rice?! When I order it, there is no rice option on the menu, or saying rice is not included. So I assume they should give me rice. And that’s not the only thing — – they didn’t even give me utensils. Nevertheless, they didn’t give me my full order too. I have also ordered three drinks: sugar cane juice, mango shake, and masala soda. Fist, the Sugar cane juice is in room temperature. Second, the masala soda is EXTREMELY salty. Last, they DIDN’T give me the mango shake! I checked my receipt and the mango shake it’s on there. So I call the restaurant to tell them about it. But the lady on the phone either has really BAD hearing, or she has bad attitude towards her job. I repeated myself for minutes! FINALLY, she«understands» what’s going on. Then she asks me to call her back in 15 mins WITHOUT telling me any reason! I regret paying and tipping them! This is the WOSRT restaurant I have experienced.

The chat is much better than other places I have tried FOOD: I tried the paani puri and the dahi puri. I love my paani(spicy sweet water that fills the chickpea fried hollow balls known as puris) cold and boy it was cold and tasty. The dahi puri was a little soggy but it was delicious too SERVICE: Since I came in here just as they opened at 4.30 pm(and not 5 pm) I didn’t have to wait too long. Even other customers got their food served pretty much without a long wait. AMBIENCE: Not too spacious but enough tables and chairs to sit about 20 people and ample parking in the strip market parking lot. OVERALL: Will definitely come back here :)

The paratha thali comes with options paneer/aloo/but tonight they had a dope cauliflower version. That’s pretty special. I got the lentil and saag curries which came with the yogurt and lime pickle as part of the thali. The cholle bhuture came with 2 puff pastry breads and chickpea/garbanzo bean curry. Another great dish. What we didn’t enjoy so much was the lime soda with the sulfur after taste. We should’ve gone with the mango lassi. Saturday night was really busy with families and kids running around but the staff were friendly and explained what to order. My friends tell me this is Punjabi comfort food. I just call it delicious.
