History

Established in 1965.

Back in 1965, Fred DeLuca set out to fulfill his dream of becoming a medical doctor. Searching for a way to help pay for his education, a family friend suggested he open a submarine sandwich shop.

With a loan of $ 1,000, the friend – Dr. Peter Buck – offered to become Fred’s partner, and a business relationship was forged that would change the landscape of the fast food industry.

The first store was opened in Bridgeport, Connecticut in August, 1965. Then, they set a goal of having 32 stores opened in 10 years. Fred soon learned the basics of running a business, as well as the importance of serving a well-​made, high quality product, providing excellent customer service, keeping operating costs low and finding great locations. These early lessons continue to serve as the foundation for successful SUBWAY® restaurants around the world.

Been here a few times now and that service is excellent. They greet you and welcome you right when you walk in the door. The food is fresh and made to order. I’ve recommended this Subway to my friends and they all seem to agree that when it comes to sandwiches this is the place to go in the Redlands area. I highly recommend this place. Try the roast beef sandwich. You won’t regret it.

Best subway ever, I was here on Monday 1÷18÷16 at 5:25 two gentlemen were working the store and as always were friendly and made great sandwiches. I don’t know what is up with this location but it is a notch above other locations. There is also a girl that wears blue contacts that is always also very kind to order from

24hrs. Wanted a sub around 9pm yet most were closed and when to a 10pm close and they decided to close early to leave early. Finally found this 24hr subway and honestly received Great service! and very were very helpful. Loved my sub too!

This is hands down my favorite subway store. They always put in a lot of care and effort when making their sandwiches and seem like they put in a lot of pride into their work. At other locations I’ve had workers cut my bread horribly uneven and slop together a mess of a sandwich :(but never at this subway! They completely deserve the 4.5 rating they currently have. I’m always so impressed by the service I get here.
Also if you bring in your receipt from previous purchase, you get 10% off your order.
Oh and they are also 24⁄7 which is amazing since there is hardly any late night food in this area.

All subways are not created equal. Three things set this one way above others: 1. They have cilantro! 2. Always very generous with their toppings. 3. The actually encourage you to do their surveys and not only give you a free cookie, they also take 10% off your bill!

2015 UPDATE: I’d totally give this place 5 stars. But it just feels weird giving Subway 5 stars, so I’m leaving it at 4. This is by far the best Subway I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to at least 100 of them. By contrast, the Subway in Loma Linda (corner of Mountain View & Redlands) is the worst Subway I’ve ever been to. So weird that these are so close to each other.
Anyway, friendly staff. Excellent servers. Great people. Nice service. Maybe I’m saying the same thing over and over, but they require emphasis because they’re freakin’ awesome.
And open 24 hours!!!

I like to get my turkey and beef sandwiches almost every week. because I just walk across the street from where I work and get my 10% discount. the food fresh, the one reason I was disappointed with the service is the heavy set man with glasses when he making my sandwich i was the first costumer then another costumer walk in he passed my unfinish sandwich to the cashier to finish it up so he could help the other customer came after me then the second costumer sandwich done he gives it to the cashier then he take my unfinish sandwich back from the cashier and make my sandwich so I was first and i end up second. my sandwich been pass back and forth three times, the heavy set man should have made my sandwich first before he go to help the second costumer come after me. my sandwich bounced back and forth like a ping pong ball. i hope he change this kind of behavior.

24⁄7 location! Reason why it’s 4 stars!
Whenever I come here it’s always at night. Usually I get the Veggie sandwich. I’m not too fond of all the other ones.
Veggie sub — I add sweet onion sauce that’s meant for the teriyaki chicken to my veggie sub w/​no extra costs. It’s so good. It makes the sub much better tasting than it would be regularly. Their ingredients always taste fresh and I’ve never had food poisoning or anything of the sort happen at this location.
Location — conveniently located along a busy street (Redlands Blvd). Sometimes homeless people will be at a table outside but they do no harm. The other night they even let a lady stay inside. It was really cold outside so I thought that was very kind of the workers to let her stay! :-)

Amazing customer service and delish food! Arther is very friendly and seems happy to be there. Only reason I didn’t give 4 stars is because of the heavier set white guy with glasses just looked mean and grumpy and glared a lot. Maybe he just needed a hug?

I was very happy when we found that this location is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Sometimes getting out of work late at night leaves no room for finding an open place to have dinner. The sandwich I received was excellent and the service was quick. The employee was very friendly and the sandwich was made well. Can’t ask for anything more. I’ll be coming back again and again!

The customer service here is always great. They’re open 24 hours. The store is always clean and the female (I’m sure the male is also) restroom is always clean and smells like they just cleaned it! The food is always fresh and tasty. Yeah I’m a big fan! Thanks Team 24 Hours Subway! :)

Is it 1AM and your tummy is grumbling? Come here! Not only is this subway open 24 hours but they always have deals… like currently, they have a $ 5 for a footlong deal. This subway location in particular has always been very clean and kind service. If you’re looking for a quick healthy something to curve your hunger, this is the place.

I give four stars because even though I don’t really like Subways as a whole, I mostly want to give credit to this specific location. The staff is always friendly. It is always clean, and they get you in and out of there quickly without making you feel rushed. If you bring back your receipt, you get 10% off your meal. Though I’m not a huge fan of the actual subs, I will say that their breakfast sandwiches are yummy!

Staff here are super friendly and funny! They were so helpful and patient with me ! Now thats good service! Lol Anyways, ordered the oven roasted chicken breast and I must admit, it was pretty good (: Not every subway can make it the way I enjoy it, so thats brownie points right there. They even offer some ingredients that other subways don’t (ex. spinach & cilantro). The bread here is super on point in regards to their toppings and texture (I got the 9 grain honey oat). They don’t forget to mention promotions their having such as a free cookie if you take a quick survey etc. If I was in the area and I was craving some subway I would definitely come back here. Because in all honesty its one of the best subways i’ve ever been to.

ok, this subway is heads and shoulders above the other local subways. i pass the mountain view subway to go to this one from my house, and it’s because they make better sandwiches. they’re not stingy with their ingredients, and the veggies are fresher than that other down the street. bring in old receipts for 10% off the next purchase. get any 2 footlongs for $ 10. this store is just better.
but the new reason i’m in love with them now?
they’re open 24 hours a day. booyah.
