Meet the Business Owner

John H.

Business Owner

John Hopkins became a partner at Prospect in late 2014 after working at the firm since 2009. After earning his degree in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino in 2009, he passed the Special Enrollment Exam that granted him his license from the Internal Revenue Service. He also has a degree in Liberal Arts from Crafton Hills College.

While at Crafton Hills College, John represented the college as the Student Trustee to the San Bernardino Community College District and served as the President of Crafton’s Student Senate. As the Treasurer, John also served on the School Board of a local, private school, Hope Christian School.

John is married to Emily Hopkins and together they have been blessed with 3 wonderful, but overwhelming, children: Elly (6), Thomas (4), and Henry (2). They also have one on the way! He is committed to his family and finds a lot of his enjoyment in the community of his family.
