It’s a nice clean facility. The first time I dropped my husband off he got great care and was well taken care of. They were so willing to help and kept his withdrawal symptoms under control and he says he loves the food. He will sometimes say he misses the food at rehab. He then checked in for a second time… And he has a horrible experience. No one cared they had less staff because they had less patients. They were just giving him meds and not explaining what it was that he was getting and why they were giving it to him. The physician the first time around was great and very attentive. The second physician the second time around was worse. Didn’t care to see him everyday and didn’t listen to his concerns. He claimed he would help and give prescription for after care meds and upon day of release the dr refused to give him the meds. A horrible place to bring your loved ones. I don’t trust a lot of physicians or nurses to take care of him properly but they did take great care of him and his needs with his walking condition. The second time around was horrible and they didn’t do anything for him. Be cautious when going here and be very hands on with your loved ones care. Alway be in the know and don’t leave them to do it all. Sometimes you have to follow your gut and when you feel you know they are wrong say it and let t be known. You are your loved ones advocate in a place like this. This should be a last resort type of rehab.
