Each lesson is structured towards building a complete musician — music fundamentals (reading music and rhythms), musicianship and theory.

Elevation Music has aimed to create curriculum that helps each students reach these goals while at the same time providing a fun and positive atmosphere.

Elevation Music is a independent teaching studio offering the highest quality instruction in all genres of music. Each instructor has been university-​trained and has crafted their teaching style to produce the most effective and efficient results in their lessons. Like the roasting process in coffee — time, patience and practice is the determining factor in each students musical success. At Elevation Music we believe we are transforming tomorrow’s musicians today.

Business Owner

A recent graduate from Claremont Graduate University, in classical guitar performance, Dr. Valdovino has been an active educator, performer and lecturer in Southern California over the last 13 years. Presently, he is an associate faculty in music at Mt. San Jacinto College, lecturing on the history of world music. In addition to teaching, Dr. Valdovino owns and operates Elevation Music, an independent music teaching studio, located in Redlands, CA since 2004 — with the expansion of a second studio in Claremont, CA in 2014.
