History
Established in 1972.
Started my business in 1972 after 4 ½ years in the Air Force. Graduated in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly State University in ’75.
Began Nurseries and florists in 1984 and ended up with three each in Santa Maria, Orcutt, Lompoc, Vandenberg AFB and an office in Santa Barbara by the time I retired at the age of 49 in 1997. We had 110 dedicated professionals with 70 men doing landscaping, a home at a time. Was also the Vandenberg AFB Florist for years in the ’90’s. Retired for two years, till ’99.
Tested for Landscape Architect for Caltrans and was the number one hire in the state with a 96% on the grueling written and oral tests in 1998. Worked for 6 ½ years there.
