Bistronomy

If you are looking for a food experience where you’ll embark on a culinary adventure in the Inland Empire, make your reservation. Had dinner on May 7^th and was treated to a menu with dishes that were familiar and some that pushed me out of my food comfort zone. It was fun to see others try things they had never tasted before. Every course was expertly planned, prepared and paired with either beer or wine. The service was wonderful– our glasses were never empty and the food was served at a perfect pace. People were actually conversing and enjoying the meal instead of staring at their phones. Bistronomy provides an intimate setting with thoughtfully prepared and sourced ingredients.
At the end of the meal, the Chef came out to the dining room to thank everyone for sharing in the experience and then went to EVERY table to greet the patrons and ask how they enjoyed the meal and for their feedback – and the menu changes every week based on this feedback. I was very impressed with dinner and the entire experience but to see a chef who had spent hours prepping and cooking several courses take the time to ask everyone their thoughts about the meal puts this establishment on another level.
My only complaint is that it is only open one evening a week. Don’t forget to save room for dessert!

So I’ll start off by saying that I’m not exactly a huge foodie. In my fast paced life and career, the need to eat is something that I consider a frustrating distraction 90% of the time. My girlfriend on the other hand, lives for food. She’s the type of person that walks out of a restaurant full from a meal and still says «mmmm chili cheese fries sound good…». Seriously, that happens. Blows my mind. I thought she would enjoy taking a cooking class for her birthday, so I booked one and off we went. Not only did I love seeing the genuinely happy look she gave me a few times while we were there, but the experience that Chef Paul created even got me excited about food! After that, I had to see what kind of experience he created for a night at Bistronomy, so off we went for dinner on a Saturday night. And an experience it was. The location, size, and décor of the restaurant made it feel like something more. Like we had been let in on a secret. Like we just stepped into a completely different world for the next couple hours. Like we were not just simply eating dinner for the night. It was truly different than anything else I’ve experienced in the Inland Empire. All five courses were unique and delicious, the timing of each course was great, the wine/​beer pairings were perfectly matched, and the wait staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We left full, relaxed, and happy with the whole experience. Don’t go here just expecting a quick bite before a movie, this is a night out in itself and well worth it. I’m officially a fan and we’ll definitely be going back soon.

My boyfriend and I dined at Bistronomy last night. The restaurant reminded me of a quaint hideaway bar/​restaurant that you’d find in LA. We got to experience Chef Paul’s playful and delicious 5 course meal, and each course was paired with wine or beer (always a plus). The carnitas tater tots with sofrito aioli and cotija cheese were AMAZING. I could probably eat a pound of these alone. The quatros leches and chocolate gelato dessert was a home run. I’m sure I annoyed my boyfriend with the amount of times I said the desert was so good lol. Overall, great food and experience. We’ll be back!

Chef Paul has an interesting idea here … Bistronomy, French dining, open on Saturday nights with a set menu. Their opening date is 2÷13÷16. We had the privilege to partake during their dry run. Five course meal; each meal is paired with a craft brew from Escape Brewery. It is a dining experience! I am not a fan of fish, and remarkably my favorite course of the evening was the 3 way Salmon. Dessert was a treat of different flavors; rosemary gelato with local lemon jam and meyer lemon oil financier — what an adventure for the palate!
