On The Spot Portrait Studios LLC. was founded in the Spring of 1993 in Jackson Tennessee, later relocating to Detroit in the Spring of 1994. Here in Detroit Michigan we found our groove and developed our customer service skills, while being careful to remain affordable and enjoy the experience of helping you create your memories, but being there for you to capture your most precious and enjoyed times on film.

Hello, my name is Daryl Malone, I’m the CEO and Chief Photographer here at On The Spot Portrait Studios LLC. I first discovered my gift and talent for photography in High School, where I was one of two Photographers on our yearbook committee. Later, after returning to Michigan from Lane College of Jackson Tennessee, where I was the campus Photographer, covering everything from sporting events to yearbook and Graduation Portraits. In Detroit I began working in the field of photography with Mrs. Beverly Smith CEO and owner of Michigan Photo of Detroit Michigan. During my time with Michigan Photo, Beverly polished and refined my gift, while teaching me the proper lighting and posing technique to take my portrait photography to an all new high. After leaving my studies with Mrs. Smith, I ventured on my own to develop business that I so proudly named On The Spot Portrait Studios LLC. OTSPS, has been providing top quality service to families and wedding clients all over Detroit
