I really hate this place because they took over bet & Jessie’s. However the sign outside says they have good fish and chips and no they don’t have the same fish. Its previously frozen fish, not good.

Have eaten there many times. Always walked out satisfied an full. But not tonight. Ordered a lamb Schworm a dinner. I think I got beef I’m not sure. the meat was dried out and grizzly. The rice was not finished cooking and was hard and I almost broke a tooth. Did not take anything home with me not sure if they got a new cook in there or what. Not sure if I will go back

Had dinner here tonight, and have eaten here before. Not sure what happened but dinner was not good. Had the fish and chips which has been exceptional on previous visits but was dry, greasy and overcooked. Dinner was a real disappointment. The quality has gone down, not sure I’ll be back.

A hidden jewel. Clean, great friendly service and resonable prices. A bit to much sauce on deboned chicken but still very very good.

First time here! Ordered my food for carry out. The hummus is good. Falafel is ok. Chicken on hummus was dry and not tasty. I’ll either eat around it or make chicken salad. Got a chicken shawarma dinner, it, too looks dry. The salads look good. Will I go back? I doubt it. Too many other options with better tasting Middle Eastern foods!

I stopped in today after work to get carry out. I got a Byblos burger with fries and a shish tawook dinner with salad and rice. The tawook dinner was nothing to write home about. The grilled veggies weren’t even grilled to soften them, they were just kind of raw. The rice was cooked well, but had a ton of paprika on top and the chicken was just a little too charred. I’m not saying it was inedible, but it definitely is not the item I would go back for. The Byblos burger, however, was amazing. The two hand-pattied burgers were cooked to a juicy well done, which seems like an impossibility, but they did it. The toppings were good quality and the bun was a nice cornmeal dusted bun that held up well to the burger. The fries were the crispy, slightly battered fries that are so popular nowadays and it came with a beverage in the cost of the meal. I will be back, but this time I know to go for the burger at this Lebanese restaurant. I know they say to go with the ethnic foods at a place like this, but now I am going against that for good reason. I may even have to try their fish and chips next time! Also, the menu says that their meat is halal if that is a concern. It is good to know in case you are looking for halal food in the Redford/The Eye area.

Was in the area to eat at the Hut, but it was closed for Valentine’s Day! Stopped here at Bobyblos because we like swarmas. What a surprise. The food was awesome. The wrap was grilled perfectly and the fries golden brown. I would highly recommend this place.

I had been waiting anxiously for Byblo’s to open and they have yet to disappoint. I first went with a co-worker: I ordered the falafel appetizer, which was wonderful – great taste and texture. She ordered a burger and said it excellent and was one of the most tender burgers she’s ever had. I made a solo trip the second time and ordered a falafel burger, which was also wonderful(they have some great vegetarian fare). I received excellent customer service during both trips – staff is courteous, helpful and attentive. Definitely going to be a frequent flyer here!

LOVE this new place. My husband works near this restaurant and couldn’t stop talknig about how good it is. The new location is so nice and decorated nicely. The food is really good! I recommend the baba, fatoosh and kabob. We also tried the fish and I’m pretty sure everything is good. Will be back for sure!

This place should be ashamed of the food they serve. I gave it a try for lunch thinking it would be a healthy choice. Boy, was I wrong! The«smoothie» was just a slushy: crushed ice with artificial strawberry flavor blended together. My chicken shawarma sandwhich was undercooked and I got sick from it later that night. Not fun. Don’t waste your time on this place.

I’ve lived in the area for 19yrs and always happy when new restaurants open and always eager to try them, so when byblos opened I was excited to try them as I love middle eastern food, I have had many falafel over the yrs but this was by far the worst ive ever had! I went in for takeout and ordered a falafel sandwich minus a few items and a meat shawarma sandwich also minus a few things, I went in person not over the phone and they weren’t even busy at the time, anyways when I got home(2miles away) and my friend bit into her shawarma it had all the stuff that I had asked not to be on there then I bit into my falafel and same thing, these 2 sandwiches cost me 10 bucks so I drove back up there and he was apologetic and made 2 new sandwiches the way I ordered them, he also gave me 2free desserts for my inconvenience, so… I got back home once again tired and hungry only to bite into my smooshie over seasoned worst falafel ever and right in the garbage it went, next up the meat shawarma… omg! Can you say holy dried out and way over seasoned. I didnt try the dessert but my friend took 1 bite and in the garbage it went along side the 2 sandwiches both with 1 bite missing. what a waste! If any of you are looking for the best falafel sandwich beirut bakery is the place.
