History

Established in 2002.

In June 2002 Shasta pools owners Steve and Kelly moved from San Luis Obispo county to Redding, Ca. Our goal by relocating was to continue a business that has been in our family scenes 1964. Shasta pools goal from the beginning was to focus on two things, excellence in customer service and quality in workmanship.

As a kid I can remember running around my grandfathers pool store in San Jose, Ca. So as you can see I have been around this business a long time. I was approached by my Uncle in 2002 about taking over a part of the business and I jumped on the offer. My wife Kelly and I have been here ever sense and love it up here! Our mission statement is «When Quality Matters» and that just what we strive for! We take pride in our attention to detail and making sure our clients are happy.

I recently had a problem with my pool’s motor and pump, and had no idea where to begin to fix it. Steve had done our pool service in the past, so we decided to give him a call to come take a look at it. I also called two other local companies to get quotes to resolve the issue, one quoting my over 450 $ to replace the whole unit, the other being rude and unhelpful.
Steve returned my phone call promptly and assured me that he would come and check it out before quoting me so it would be most accurate. He not only came out the same day (within hours), but took the time to troubleshoot our equipment to find the real issue. He ended up being able to fix the problem (it turns out it was not necessary to replace the unit), and also took the time to ensure the rest of the equipment was running properly for hundreds of dollars less than what the other companies had quoted me.
I cannot recommend Steve at Shasta Pool’s enough. He is HONEST, and thorough, qualities that are hard to come by these days! He takes care of you like you are family, and treats your pool like his own asset!

I recently switched services and was thoroughly impressed with Steve’s work. Professional and personable. It is obvious he knows his line of work. Such an improvement in my pool’s water quality. I watched my old pool service and then saw Steve’s work. He did so much more at the same price. I’m so happy I switched. I highly recommend.
