We offer fun for the whole family through SUP rentals, lessons, and adventure tours. Whatever your age and experience level, we have the perfect adventure for you. Whether you’re looking for a basic SUP lesson and guided paddle on a calm lake, or a full lesson and adventure tour on the river, we look forward to providing you with a great time. We are PaddleFit and WPA certified and provide safety, great technique instruction, and always a fun time.

Stand Up Paddle Board Lessons: We offer basic and full lessons for the beginner to advanced paddler. Lessons are a great way to gain confidence on the water, improve your technique, and maximize your health benefits and fun!

Stand Up Paddle Board Tours: Adventure tours are a fun way to explore some of nature’s most beautiful treasures on the water. We offer lake and river tours for all experience levels!

Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals: You pick the day and location and we’ll provide all the equipment for a fun day on the water with friends

History

Established in 2014.

As a kid, I grew up surfing daily on the beaches of Southern California and I can vouch for the fact that when you get caught with a love of the water and adventure, it remains with you forever. In 2009 I started Stand Up Paddle Boarding (sup’ing for short) and I was soon hooked on the sport.

When my family and I moved to Redding, I began sup’ing the rivers and lakes regularly and realized what a fun time it was, as well as a great work out. I love the peace and rest you get while on the water, mixed with adventure, fun, natural beauty and a great core work out. It doesn’t get much better than that :).

In March of 2014 I launched Royal Paddle Adventure — excited to introduce others to this amazing sport and to offer to them the adventure, work-​out, and peace that Stand Up Paddle Boarding brings. It is a privilege and joy to introduce people to this amazing sport and to let them experience some of Northern California’s most beautiful waterways.

I grew up in the water as a surfer and love experiencing the adventure, peace, and work-​out that being on a Stand Up Paddle Board brings.

My family and I love the natural beauty of Redding and it’s a privilege to run a family business that gets us and others out into nature and provides such a fun, restful experience for everyone involved. It’s important for people to get a break from the stress and hurry of life and to nourish their souls through something like Stand Up Paddle Boarding. I love providing people with the adventure and refreshment their souls and bodies need to really thrive in life.

I enjoy teaching lessons and am a PaddleFit level 2 certified coach. I am comfortable taking out the beginning paddler to the advanced paddler, as well as all ages. I paddle with 7 and 77 year olds and they both have one thing in common: a big smile!
