This place is a gem. Authentic, delicious Thai food, and nice folks that run the place. Everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious but the Khao soi beef has a special place in my heart(and tummy), it’s a must have every time I come to Redding. Sometimes my boyfriend and I even come here multiple times during a visit! Honestly, in my opinion it’s one of the better places to eat in this town. I highly recommend it!

We stumbled across this place years ago. Was looking for an Asian store(next door). And saw this place was packed during lunch hour. Came back for their dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Since then, we’ve been coming here for years. So much that she already knows our«special» orders. If by chance we decide to venture out of our comfort zone she is always surprised. Service is wonderful, if you’ve been there before. You get used to the help yourself, find your own table thing. Regulars know the«newbys»…because they kinda stand there as people are wizzing by them– then they get the idea and find a seat. Best Thai food in the most unlikely place.

Average Phở and awkward service. They have difficulty communicating due to language barriers, but get the job done. I would prefer nearly any other place in town for Phở. Overall, if you’re in the area, you could do worse.

Mostly good quality and value but need more servers. Waited half hour for main course at 6pm then they forgot my drink. The white rice had no flavor at all… It should have some?

This place is decorated how I imagine my grandma would decorate her house if she were Thai. And I say this in a good way. I think the décor was homey but it also had a cultural flare. Got pad Thai, pad see ew, pad kee Mao and grilled chicken with fried rice. The food tastes fresh. They definitely use fresh ingredients. I don’t like fish and hate when the food tastes a bit fishy– this did not bit this could be a flavor preference thing. The place smelled clean. They had bobba for the iced tea. The Thai iced tea was creamy and sweet. All in all GOHERE!

Fresh, complex and balanced flavors. Hit all the high points of the sweet, salty, spicy and savory with hints of mint and lemongrass. I had the Name Kai, Panang Kai and fresh spring rolls. These were the best meals I have had since I was in Thailand and Vietnam a few months ago. The service was on-point, fast and friendly. I did not expect this level of authentic southeast Asian food in Redding. I won’t visit Redding again without visiting this restaurant. The portions were quite generous as well.

Best and most authentic Thai food in Redding hands down. I like the small, quiet, family atmosphere and there’s hardly ever anyone in there(which is crazy) but that makes sense considering it’s a little hidden(go find it!!). The food is fresh, delicious and very consistent. None of that greasy, sweet, super Americanized Thai food. Although if that’s what you are used to, there are definitely some familiar dishes that you will love. My favorites so far: duck fried rice, silver noodle salad, any of the noodle soup bowls, spicy cat fish w/green beans, mango sticky rice(duh). I could eat here every day.

I always enjoy my time at Racha Noodle. The food is quality with great prices. Traditional meals with kind service featuring authentic accents. My go to meal is the Duck in Red Curry and who can resist Mangos with Sticky Rice for dessert!

This is the place we go to for good, reliable Pad Thai and, when in season, mango and sticky rice dessert. Understandably, restaurants that offer ethnic food generally customize the flavor of the food to appeal to the immediate local populace tastes to ensure the restaurant’s success(yes, even in cases where the owners came from abroad).(Hence, Thai restaurants in Thai Town in Los Angeles, CA are different from Thai restaurants in Redding, CA.) So, as the 3-star rating here reflects, I’m not really knocking or heavily endorsing this place. A final note for those who’re looking for more authentic fare… We’ve tried various other dishes(and other Thai restaurants in Redding) and have just found ourselves sticking to one dish, the Pad Thai, here.

I won’t go back just b/c service was bad, food was ok, and they forgot my thia tea. I asked the lady for a thia tea to go and she was going to charge me for a second one. The pad was ok but the basil fried rice was good!

About two weeks ago, I drove by Racha Noodle and said«who would eat there?!». Well, I did and will again! I was craving good Thai and asked a close Thai friend where she would go. I am so happy that she suggested this place! It is delicious! The portions were large, they are inexpensive, the staff are friendly. The décor is meh. The location is poor. But for good food I will make sacrifices! Oh and they do accept debit/credit cards.

Great news! They now accept Visa and Master cards. I noticed the stickers on the door, asked them about it, and they confirmed they started accepting cards last week.

I LOVE this place. The fresh rolls are amazing and the green curry is the best in town. I also love their basil chicken and ginger chicken. The Sisters who run it are so sweet and friendly. Atmosphere isn’t the greatest, but the good food is worth it. I like to end with the tapioca or mango sticky rice.

I came here with my husband and 2 children. The outside kept me from coming here for years. Inside it needs updating but is very clean. Food was amazing and services were great! Definitely will be coming back.

This is a great little place with reasonable prices and good thai food. I had the shrimp and eggplant with could have used more shrimp, but it was spiced well and had good flavor. The service was fine, nothing extraordinary but as long as my water glass is not empty, then I’m good. :D You won’t be disappointed coming here and I like supporting mom and pop establishments. Don’t listen to that Unilocaler who said the building is dilapidated; the building is fine. Sure it’s not a 5 star fancy restaurant, but I’m a regular guy who likes good food and appreciates hard work. Cheers to Racha Noodle!

Not a fan. Don’t remember it being this bad before, but then again I haven’t been here inna half a year. CASHONLY. Small sign by the pay window stating so. They need a BIG sign in the window so people know. Guarantee you that you can find equal tasting, if not better noodles for less at ANY Thai restaurant in Redding. $ 9 a bowl and not quite as satisfying as one would assume.

How does this place only have 3 ½ stars?! Everything that my girlfriends ordered at the table was delicious! Out of all the Thai places I have tried in Redding so far, this one was my favorite. Kudos.

This place has always been my favorite Thai restaurant in Redding. The food has not disappoint yet and I’ve been coming here since they first switched owners to the nice ladies you see working there. Sure, the place could use a bit of remodeling and décor, but the food and service makes up for it. The workers here are super respectful and are always smiling. I usually order Tom Yum noodles with large noodles and occasionally their pad-sa-ew. Both very delicious and flavorful dishes. If you have a pallet for spicy foods, you can order the plate as spicy as you want, if not then simply tell them no heat, no problem. Yes, they are a dollar or two more than other Thai places in Redding, but I am usually more than willing to pay for the price for quality and great service over bland quantity and shitty service. One last thing, be prepared to pay with cash because they don’t take anything else.
