The office got us in right away for my husbands wisdom teeth to be extracted. They didn’t need to do several appointments to get the job done. One appointment including exam, consolation and procedure. Wow what a great experience. They are all very friendly and helpful. The pricing was great! Inside and out the office is very clean! Dr. Cox is exceptionally informative and knowledgable. If our family needs anything in the future that this office offers, it will be the place we go. Finding a professional yet friendly and knowledgable place like this in Redding is not easy. Hats off 5 star service!

I needed a last minute appointment for something that got extremely worse after years of suffering. I called around for 2 hours yesterday trying to find a good dentist who wasn’t booked into May. No luck… Everyone was booked, but when I explained my situation to the receptionist at Dr. Cox’s office, she found time to squeeze me in last minute when someone, I assume, had cancelled their appointment. I was really thankful for her effort to help me. When I got to the office it was pleasant and clean… Just cold– so bring a jacket! But cold is hygienic and I was grateful for that as well. Erin got me prepped and she was just a joy. She talked to me and made me feel more comfortable. She saw I was a little anxious and gave me her time to comfort me. She and Dr Cox made sure I was plenty numb as to not feel any pain. I’m so thankful I chose this office for this procedure. I am beyond words thankful to have this finally done after 4 years of having this issue. The price was reasonable as well. Thank you and your team. Even the receptionists are sweet. Great people… I felt like I was back home in Texas with their kindness and caring.

Amazing amazing amazing! Dr cox and his staff was AMAZING. I had my wisdom teeth procedure done 8 years old and then had my daughter lip and tongue tie revision done at 2 weeks old. I felt so comfortable and extremely satisfied by dr. Cox. They even called to check up on my baby the day after ;) she healed up beautifully and was worth every penny. Thank you!

Wow! Best dentist offices I’ve ever been in! I had a sudden issue with my wisdom tooth and even though they were booked for the day they fit me in. Now I am a panzy when it comes to surgery stuff, blood, IV’s you name it, and when I started gettin in my own head and feeling sick the girl (I wish I remembered her name) helped me through it all till I felt better and still continued to make sure I felt good enough for the surgery. Dr. Cox was very friendly and so nice!
I would recommend this place to anyone!

This was a great experience as far as for dental extractions. The appointment was on time and they got right to business. Dr. Cox took out three of my wisdom yesterday. I was very impressed with the staff and facility. They were very orderly, clean and professional and they used state of the art equipment. I was told he would be done in under an hour. I woke up and my wife told me it was only about 20 minutes. I didn’t feel pain for about an hour, took one pain pill, and now just ibuprofen. I do not even feel pain for two of three extractions. The only one that still hurts, and not bad, is the one that was giving me pain in the first place. I highly recommend this facility and Dr.

I wish I could give them 10 stars :) my family and I traveled from Willow Creek to have my four wisdom teeth surgically removed on the 27^th of August. They have a nice, comfortable facility with comfy chairs in the office, In each room there is a blanket for you if you need one. I watched a short video that explained everything I needed to know about the extraction that was about to happen, it was very informative (they have the raddest x-​ray machine by the way). When it was time to put the I. V in they let my mom be in the room with me, They sprayed some numbing spray on the area, put the I. V in and it was time to begin. I was sedated quickly, and the whole process took about 15 – 20 minutes. I woke up on a bed covered in a blanket, watching the same video, and asked for my mom I only felt groggy and dizzy. nothing extreme. I wasn’t loopy at all. They let me rest a while, and then walked me out to my chariot.
Dr.Cox and staff were so friendly and comforting. They put up with my questions, my nervousness, and comforted me. They sent me home with gauze, just enough pain meds, two syringes for cleaning (one medicated syringe in case of dry sockets), an ice packet-​thing (you get four ice packs and a strap for your face which velcrows together), some pudding, and information on how the next week should be and what to do. They even sent me a get well card. I have been healing up wonderfully and the pain only lasted a few days.
I’m very, very impressed by how my experience went and how wonderful these people are.
I would recommend them to anyone.

I went to Dr. Todd Weaver DMD for a routine check up in Weed, Ca. Dr. Todd said, I needed a root canal and recommended Dr. Mark Cox in Redding, Ca. I made an appointment with Dr. Cox on 7÷21÷2015. I arrived at the facility and was greeted by a wonderful and caring staff. The perimeter and interior parts of the facility were very well kept. The ladies at the counter were awesome. The dental tech’s were very kind, caring, professional and compassionate. The clinic itself was very nice and clean. I then met with Dr. Mark Cox who explained the whole procedure and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. The root canal procedure went well and the procedure did not take long at all. The best part was there was «NO PAIN» during the procedure…:-) I would definitely go back if need be for another procedure and I would highly recommend Dr Cox for any of your dental needs. Thanks for a job well done. 5 stars from me!

I had my four wisdom teeth removed 12−4−14. The staff was wonderful, kind, patient, and very informative. I was very nervous about being put under and the staff explained every detail of the procedure, which made me feel so much better.

The best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone on the staff was excellent; caring and kind. Everything was explained well and I experienced no discomfort whatsoever. I was honestly very nervous about having a wisdom tooth extracted, but it was virtually a non-​event. I credit Dr. Cox and his staff for the great outcome.

I had my last three wisdom teeth removed today by Dr. Cox and it was a really great experience! The office is warm and welcoming and the staff is friendly and helpful. I have TMJ and a really small mouth and had a terrible 6 hour long root canal experience at Western Dental in Redding, (which I now know is because if incompetence and shoddy work), that really made me afraid to have this procedure done. But, Dr Cox’s staff listened to my fears and were very reassuring and the end result was a quick, painless procedure that left me feeling relieved! I definitely recommend this practice!

I do a whole lotta research when it comes to doctors. So once my wisdom teeth started to give me grief, I instantly glided to Unilocal.I was elated to see an oral surgeon with five stars across the board. Thank you so much, Unilocal!As far as teeth pulling goes, this was the best experience that I have ever had. Cox is an outstanding doctor who has by far earned this rating.
I remember when I found Cox through Unilocal and Google, and I was torn between him and a different surgeon residing in Oregon. In the end, I asked a professor of mine if he had any recommendations for oral surgeons. He told me that his wife had gone to a phenomenal DMD in Redding named Mark Cox. I was so happy that it was the name of a doctor that I was already heavily considering! Right then and there, I made my decision. And I am SO happy that I did! Doctor Cox is such a professional. This practice is downright immaculate – it was really comforting to see how clean everything was. The staff is incredibly courteous, and the doctor is very mindful. He’s attentive and considerate, and I cannot say enough good things about him! I felt very at ease with the procedure. I didn’t even notice when he pulled my top teeth! He told me I was all finished and I was like, «what about the tops?» And he was like, «I already did them, silly.» This place is just so efficient. I asked for a time estimate from one of the staff members and she was spot on. It took maybe fifteen minutes to pull four teeth. Once you’re finished, they give you a baggy full of information on how to avoid dry sockets, etc. They also give you an icepack to reduce swelling, plus a bunch of gauze. And, to top it all off, they phone in the day after your procedure to see that everything is running smoothly. By that night, I was enjoying eating smoothies with a spoon. By the next day, I could eat soft solids. I’ve had a total of eight teeth pulled in my life. The first four were done by a general dentist, and it took me YONKS to recover. The last four were done here, at Cox’s office, and my recovery time was beyond impressive. Prices are very reasonable. The price difference between having my teeth done here wasn’t much more than if I’d have had them done at the same general dentist as before. The outcome was definitely worth the extra money.
I highly recommend Doctor Mark Cox! I refer so many people to him. He is an exceptional practitioner and I am so glad that I went to him.

Had complcations with extractions, and was sent over to see Dr. Cox. When he was unable to do the extractions due to the high level of pain and anxiety I was experiencing, he set it up to do it under general anesthesia the very next morning because my comfort was a priority to him. My surgery went very quickly, in and out in under an hour. I am recovering as comfortably as can be expected as I write this.
I have had many horribly traumatizing experiences with dental work, but Dr. Cox and his staff proved that there are some wonderful people in the profession. Amanda, one of his assistants, went above and beyond in keeping me calm and relaxed.
I hope I don’t need oral surgery again, but if I do, I won’t go to anyone but Dr. Cox!!!

Had to have 5 extractions and we opted for 3 and delay for 2. He was very fast, gentle, and fair with his pricing. Will return for the rest of my work.

I had to have two wisdom teeth removed a few months ago and was trepidatious due to a bad experience having the other two removed as a teenager. Dr. Cox came recommended and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he was in-​network for my dental plan.
I was very pleasantly surprised. His manner is kind and engaging and puts you at ease. His staff is super friendly. Most importantly, the procedure went smoothly and I had a much easier recovery than the first go around. I definitely recommend Dr. Cox and his staff!

Though he looks like a lineman, his touch is gentle and expert at what he does. I had a childhood fear of all dental events, but he was great, quick and painless in pulling what little tooth was left. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY MOUTH OR TOOTH DISORDER. I had so much fear built up going, I felt slighted when it was over so quickly and with no pain. Way to go Doc. Worth every penny. Blessing on you!!!
