History

Established in 1930.

In the 1930’s, Alvin M. Cibula, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Law School, came to Redding as an officer with the U.S. Army. He went into practice with General Tillotson and later took over the practice.

In 1965, Franklin Stephen Cibula went into the practice with his father, Alvin, after graduating from Princeton University and the University of California, Boalt Hall Law School.

In 1994, Mark Hanbury Cibula joined the practice with his father, Franklin. Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as a Congressional Advisor in the United States House of Representatives and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master of Arts from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law.

Upon the retirement of Franklin S. Cibula, Mark Cibula started a new firm focusing on personal injury, real estate, business law, and criminal defense.
