I went to this lab twice and both times I politely asked them to tell me what my bill was since I didn’t want a astronomical bill by surprise. I have to a lot of medical costs and didn’t think it was out of line to ask about what my bill would be. However both times I was told they ran my insurance and was told by their staff that my bill would not be over $ 100.00 which was vague to say the least. Not only was it vague it was way off. When I finally received a bill in the mail it was from a collections company. When I called to pay the bill it was almost $ 400.00 and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes they took my payment and refused to address my concerns. I asked if I could file a complaint with a supervisor and again they refused to do anything. They explained that the staff at the Redding location should not have told me any amount which obviously would make sense. If an employee at that location had explained that they didn’t know the cost I would not have had them perform the labs in the first place. I would highly suggest you find a different lab to go to. My doctor eventually recommended a different lab after I told her about my ordeal with this company.

Rude, rude staff. Poked my arm in 3 different places trying to get a vein. Left bruising for 2 weeks. And, still didn’t get enough of a sample for the doctors order. Labcorp offices tend to look unkempt, run down, shabby, and un-hygienic. Wish my doctor would order testing through another laboratory service.
