History

Established in 2013.

Everything Technical is still a small start-​up from home that has dreams of becoming huge in its community. The lack of personal touch in computer repair and smartphone repair coupled with the high prices inspired the start of Everything Technical to create just the opposite. Everything Technical specializes in providing excellent service for all of your changing technical devices. From tutoring, repairing, servicing, and installing, we do it all at an affordable price!

Business Owner

Christopher Alexander started Everything Technical with the hopes of establishing a business that is helpful to the public and provides a necessary service for the ever-​changing world of technology. Machines and computers become obsolete so often that it can be rather daunting to keep up, and Everything Technical has made it their mission to provide services in these areas to educate the public.

Christopher was raised in the Northern California area the entirety of his young life, up until age 17 when he joined the US Navy as a Master-​At-​Arms. He served 7 years in the service, and then came back to his hometown of Redding in 2010. It’s only recently that he has decided to start a business that will allow him to share his knowledge and experience with computers and tablets.

His associate’s degree in multimedia was acquired from the University of Advancing Technology Tempe, AZ. Chris then received a bachelor of arts degree in business from Simpson University in Redding, CA.

Oh the irony of life. Over a decade ago, I actually had several college classes on communications technology.
That’s all outdated. So, I looked up Everything Technical here on Unilocal and I figured that if they were even half as good as their reviews, then we would be set!
I called Chris and left a message. Within minutes, Chris called back and we made an appointment for him to come check out my sound issues.
Chris showed up right on time and was extremely polite, easy to talk to and had a great personality. My sense of humor is all over the place, but Chris didn’t let anything phase him!
Within minutes, Chris figured out everything I needed and was able to order everything that same day!
On the day of the install, Chris had two of his workers (Chad and Justin) come out and do the install and they were great. Super fast, super efficient, super clean and super polite.
They took the extra time to make sure that I understood how to work the new surround sound system, and they worked some sort of magic to make everything work off of just one remote.
They also took the time to adjust the sound to my liking. When I watch the Fast and Furious movies, I DEMAND THEATER SURROUND QUALITY.
And now, that Is what I have.
I have a poor attitude. I don’t get along with people. I don’t really like people, but these guys are the best. If you do not use their services, then enjoy using your nineteen remotes on a 3 speaker sound system while you wonder what the people on tv are saying.

Chris did a great job installing our security cameras at our Drive-​Thru. Very reasonably priced and communicated very well what was going to happen. He is now our IT guy for our POS systems and will be installing our other security systems.
Friendly, great service, prices and trust-worthy…can’t beat that!

Chris at Everything Technical went above and beyond my expectations. I had read the positive reviews and then I got to experience his excellent customer service first hand. I dropped and cracked my iPhone 5s screen and Chris met me at a convenient time and location and had my phone back and fixed right when he said he would. His pricing was very competitive (cheaper than the mall or the place by Target). The only bad news is I dropped my phone the very next day and the screen broke again! I couldn’t believe my luck! But Chris fixed it again and did not even charge me for the time he spent to fix it, just for the cost of the screen itself, and he even put on my new glass screen protector for no added charge! I was very impressed with his professionalism and friendly service. I would highly recommend Everything Technical to anyone!

This is long because this guy is outstanding. I dropped my iPhone and shattered the screen. It was the best thing that could happen. I was referred to Chris at Everything Technicle. He ordered the replacement screen, picked up my phone and returned it the next day. We live in the country and I had purchased a Verizon jetpack to try improving internet service as an alternative to Frontier DSL. It worked reasonably well but was expensive so I asked Chris to look at what we had. We also wanted whole house wireless including our Samsung flat screen. And we had questions about our other devices. We’re Apple people and pushing 70. Chris said he was primarily a PC person but would give it a try. We have a MacBook Air an iMac an iPad, 2 iPhones and 2 printers. He analyzed our usage with Verizon. His recommendations saved us $ 110.00 a month. He set up the Samsung to wirelessly stream Netflix. He installed a wireless extender and connected all our devices. He set up the flat screen with a new Harmony remote control that is far superior and more user friendly than the remotes provided by Dish or DirectTV. Today he tweaked the MacBook Air, our Brother printer, who decided to strike and the HP color printer that has been recalcitrant for months. Now both printers respond to my iMac, iPad and iPhone. We have used The Geek Squad and Nerds on call. Neither to our satisfaction. We just let issues pile up. Fortunately I broke my phone screen.
But here is the big kicker. Earlier this summer three top right rubber selector buttons on my new ($ 650.00 but just off warranty) Humminbird 560 Color Chartplotter/​Fishfinder/​Depth etc. stayed in the depressed position causing the screen to cycle continuously through 12 views. Humminbird wanted $ 250.00 to see if it could be fixed with no guarantees. I looked inside and it was several circuit boards sandwiched. I put it back together and called Chris. He picked it up had it for a few days and returned it GOOD AS NEW. And that dear reader is why Everything Technical gets 5 stars. Chris is three times better and charges half as much as the nearest competitors.
