Specialties
We are the experts to turn to when you have high energy bills, are uncomfortable in you home, struggle with asthsma triggers in your indoor air, have hot and cold rooms, or are unhappy with the noise and drafts of your home. Instead of guessing at the cause of the problems, we use the latest building science and specialized test equipment including blower doors, infrared cameras, duct pressurization, and trained technicians to identify the real problems. Then we sit down with you and develop a workscope to bring you peace, quiet, clean, healthy, and comfortable conditions to your home– and we perform all of the meticulous work ourselves. We are licensed, bonded and insured to perform full Home Performance retrofits including HVAC, insulation, electrical, plumbing, solar, and windows. All of our projects include a full 3 year workmanship warranty and 10 year equipment warranty, because we stand behind everything we do. Call us today for a no-obligation appointment to learn more.

Meet the Business Owner
Mike M.
Business Owner
Mike MacFarland is a lead instructor for the California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA), and brings twenty years of general building contracting experience into his classroom trainings. He is a BPI Building Analyst and Envelope professional, and a CBPCA HERS rater. As the designer and auditor for the Redding Electric Utility’s (REU) Home Performance program, Mike was responsible for all home performance system designs, field classroom and field mentoring, and quality control of (20) full deep energy retrofit homes that were recently featured nationally in the ASHRAE journal article. With a strong desire to advance the understanding of HVAC performance, Mike created a prototype system dynamometer which he uses to wirelessly, and remotely, monitor and assure full HVAC and delivery system performance. Two years ago, Mike co-founded the Annual Forum on Dry Climate Home Performance, which is a rapidly growing invitational gathering of Home Performance Professionals.
