As a returning customer, I would like to let people know what a great massage place Backrubz is. First off, it’s CLEAN! And they’re very professional. The staff are always helpful, and from what I have heard from friends, relatives and coworkers that go there they have never had a bad experience. I would like to say I prefer Tessa, and she has proven many times that she can help with a back or neck that is severely tight and hurting. She is amazing. I’m sorry to read from another Unilocal user she had a bad experience with her. Bummer you didn’t find relief as everyone else has that I know that go there. Shout out to a locally owned business, keep up the good work.

My daughter gifted me this massage, and even though I had visited there and enjoyed it before, this time was a total bust! Although the gal was not bad, unfortunate for them, a business next to them desided to start some construction just as I was getting a massage. There was banging, drilling and sawing the whole time I was there and I could Not enjoy my massage. As I paid and left, my gal said the owners would probably contact me about this terrible incident. Well, I waited over a week, and not one person called me to talk to me about it. But alas, they did nothing by mail, email or phone. I truly felt I wasted my time and my daughters hard earned money. For this reason, I shall not be back. They could of at least rescheduled the massage, or maybe even given me a discount on my next one. Bad business on your part girls!

i have been here many times and never had a bad or so-​so massage, always great. love that they take walk ins, although i usually try to call a few hours before i am wanting to come in. i have recommended Backrubz to many people and they have all thanked me for the excellent recommendation. the prices are reasonable too, best deals ive found in Redding thus far. ive given massage gift cards from Backrubz many times as gifts as well. everybody loves them.
i just wish therd facial prices were lower or that they offered facial specials more often, then i would really be there alot.

Backrubz is very convenient if you need to get a massage quickly. They can get you in the same day and sometimes you can get in just walking through the door. They have a lot of therapists. I had some wonderful massages at that place from Charlie. She is great, she knows what she is doing and listens to the client.
One time I had another therapist who was very nice, but could not accommodate the pressure I needed even though she stated she could. It was a bit disappointing, but still relaxing and very beneficial. Their prices are very good, they play relaxing music and have very good customer service. The only problem is if you like a certain therapist you might not be able to get in for a few days if they are booked.

Backrubz is clean, well managed, and easily the best place to get a relaxing experience in Redding. After a stressful day this is where I love to end up. I felt very pampered and taken care of. Jenn and Lori are amazing. Jenn is fantastic for deep tissue but both will take great care of you.

I’ve only ever been here once and was seen by Ashley. She was absolutely amazing. She totally knew what she was doing and before she even massaged me she took maybe 15 minutes to know about everything that was bothering me and giving me pain. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves massages or are in pain and need amazing relief. I’m definitely going back!

I’ve been to Back Rubz once many years ago and really enjoyed the experience here. I visit the Redding area frequently and was really looking forward to another great and much needed massage and Back Rubz did not disappoint! The Tuesday Deep Tissue special was an unexpected bonus. This place is great, charming, tranquil, clean, and the staff is amazing. They have a couple different rooms to accommodate multiple appointments. They accept walk-​ins, and they offer gift certificates too … these make really great Gifts! Thank You Ladies, I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

What can I say about Back Rubz? They are wonderful in every way. I have been going for years. Always efficient, always excellent. They return calls. They always have great massage therapists. Go for 15 minute neck, back massage. Go for a hour full body massage, go for hot rock massage. I don’t even know what all they have. Clean nice relaxing rooms, anything you want to help your body. Nothing out of the norm if you are scared. Have referred many friends who were not sure about a back rub. They all loved it. Marti is my personal favorite. But she is the only one I have had who is working there now. She’s always learning new things. Very helpful with hints to do at home for your problem.
Back Rubz is great. Gotta go…

Backrubz consistently offers fantastic massage. Marti and Lori have both done body work multiple times. They are knowledgeable about the human body and how all of the systems work together. I’ve gone to them for a chair massage a few times when I’ve had stress headaches. While it’s a bland, non-​nondescript location that I have driven past a zillion times, it wasn’t until I went based on a referral from a friend that I realized how great these ladies are. They fit me in and focused on the tension spots for my headaches. I can tell you that after the first appointment my headaches are nearly gone, and then after the second appointment the next week with Sharon my headaches have completely disappeared. I plan to be a regular from here forward.

FANTASTIC Massages in a RELAXING atmosphere!
I’ve been a Back Rubz customer since 2004.
As a registered dental hygienist and Mom of 3 little ones, I have some significant back/​shoulder tightness and pain. There is nothing more comforting than getting a superb massage on the HEATED comfy tables in a themed room and listening to relaxing music. My husband knows that I’d take a massage any day over a chocolate dipped straweberries and flowers!!!

My rowing instructor, an ex-​Olympic rower, considers himself a massage snob and introduced me to his massage therapist in San Francisco. I now know an excellent therapist when I find one. Using Unilocal,I found Back Rubz, but the reviews of Ashley were inconsistent. I hate it when that happens. I believed the excellent review, and am glad I did.
The facility was very nice; the employees were friendly; and the massage room and soothing music were fine.
Best of all, Ashley was excellent. She was generous with her time and easy to talk to when I wanted to talk and quiet when I didn’t. She could tell what muscles needed the most attention without me even having to alert her to my sorest areas. She’s one of the best therapists I’ve seen and I plan to return.

Best massages in town by far! My husband sees Ashley & I see Kelsey. They both do awesome deep tissue massage. My husband won’t see ANYONE but Ashley! She does such an amazing job with deep tissue massage that sometimes my husband has to cry uncle– but that’s a good thing. She has helped his carpal tunnel & back problems so much! Kelsey always gets the knots out of my back & I leave feeling much better than when I arrived. Both girls do an incredible job and we both leave blissfully relaxed. On top of being great at their jobs both girls are sweet & super friendly. If you want a wonderful deep tissue massage go see Ashley & Kelsey at Back Rubz!!!
