History

Established in 1985.

Rita McWilliams, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology started the business in 1985 while working closely with the only three ear, nose, and throat physicians in Redding. All three physicians have retired, but Rita continues to work as a private practice establishment. She works closely with patients’ family physicians and has worked with infants to geriatric population. Her family is now working in the office with her.

Rita obtained her A.A. degree in business at El Camino College. She obtained her B.A. in speech and hearing at Humboldt State University. She obtained her M.A. in audiology at Humboldt State University. She obtained her Au.D. degree in audiology at Arizona School of Health Sciences. She became interested in audiology after learning sign language and being involved with the deaf community. She has been blessed with great opportunities and enjoys working to help people hear.
