Lake Shannon

I grew up in Lake Shannon, every summer since I was 3 with my friend Jeff and his family. Those were the times that I so remember most of my childhood. I learned how to drive a boat, water ski, and a bunch of other things that a kid from the city never really gets to experience.
I am now about to purchase a Summer home here, and I am so happy that I am fortunate to be able to do so. I’ve worked long and hard to get here and Lake Shannon is the place I want to relax as I get older.
The lake is beautiful and they stock it up with Bass, Rainbow trout and other wonderful fish so that you can fish to your hearts content. Or if you are a property owner everyone who is on the outskirts of the Lake will have access to their own «little beach» and that is a really good thing to have in your yard. Every summer they restock the sand to make sure your «beach» is full of happiness. YES!
Also there is a Gator Club that you can rent out if you think you would like to have a function or maybe you just want to use the private beach for more friends? Do it, just go ahead and let them know ahead of time.
On the day that I went to see my «future property», we were happy to know that our friends took us on their boat so that my mom could get the full effect. It was like I was a kid all over again, and I was beyond happy that now my mom could experience what I had so long ago. Just a joy to be part of this Lake.
