Worst service at an apple bees ever. I swear they just hire who ever fills out an application. The manager is awesome, but the servers are so rude and take forever to wait the tables. Never going to this one ever again.

Almost nothing on the menu for a vegetarian… even the house salad has bacon on it. This is the third time my boyfriend and I have eaten here. The first two times we did the Two for Twenty dollar special after pretty much having to beg the waiter to let us substitute one of the listed entres, all of which contained meat, for a grilled cheese which is really the only non meat option on their menu. Both times I got the ‘I’ll have to speak with my manager’ answer. Though the manager agreed to the swap both times, this time I didn’t want the hassle so this time we ordered two fiesta lime chickens, one of which we will have boxed up for him tomorrow. We will share the artichoke and chips… and I’ll eat something else when I get home. Otherwise place is clean and staff are friendly. And my boyfriend always enjoys his fiesta chicken.

Friendly service, mediocre food, as you can expect for a chain restaurant. Tried pot stickers & tomato basil soup for lunch today, both of which are okay — nothing to write home about — although a tad spendy for the amount of food served.

Well… It was clean. I can say that honestly. Admittedly, I’m not a fan of chain restaurants, but I thought I’d try one of their new dishes: Shrimp & Broccoli Cavatappi. It was, well, really nothing at all. Yes, it had shrimp and broccoli, and it was served in a pasta bowl. It had virtually no flavor, and the portion was oddly small, which may have been just as well. When we can go to a Vietnamese restaurant, spend half as much, and get 50 times the flavor, why would I want to come here? As a chain restaurant, it is predictable: Clean, organized, tidy. It’s also predictably bland. Next time, I’ll salt and pepper the photo in the menu. It may have more flavor.

My wife loves Applebees so we eat there alot, however, we’ll never come back to the Red Wing Applebee’s. Service was horrible. When waiting at the bar couldn’t get the bartenders attention to get me a drink. When we ordered, they kept getting our order mixed up. And our meals took forever. And when we finally got our right meals, they were not very good. Usually all Applebee’s are the same– I don’t know why this one is so bad.

Like all Applebee’s the food is pre-​made and microwaved. But as Applebee’s goes this one seems to be a notch below average. The staff can be ok and the drinks are good, but their changing menu seems to knock things off that were ok and add things that are not. We have crossed this one off our list as we always leave disappointed.

I never got to try my Sysco microwaved entrée because after 15 minutes of being seated but never seeing a server, we got up and walked out. The host and 3 servers WERE having a fun visit at the front door though…

My husband loves this place and always wants to come here. The reason for that is the consistently good food and service. We love the two for twenty menu. We get two great main dishes and appetizers for $ 20.00. The service is always fast and friendly. We are always asked if we need anything or if everything is alright. This is a great place to go in this poor economy to get a great meal with charming service. We are repeat customers here. We recommend it highly to our friends and people who visit.

The new (male) manager is a welcome addition. Checks every table, checks every plate. We’d had issues with the ditz before him and have had zero issues since he came on board. We will eat there a lot more often now.
It’s a chain people, don’t expect the Plaza.

I didn’t have high expectations — but the service was good, the food well prepared and even though they were busy, I didn’t feel rushed or ignored.
Regardless of the ‘chain’ designation, they have added themselves to my shortlist of local restaurants worth patronizing.
There was simply nothing to complain about, easy to find something for anyone’s tastes, but nothing very distinctive.
A perfect place for a dinner when you don’t feel like making your own, or when you don’t know everyone’s preferences.
