History

Established in 2000.

Taste Budd’s began as a mobile baking business in 2000. Chef Dan Budd was teaching Pastry Arts at The Culinary Institute of America when he had the idea to bring freshly baked chocolate goodies to outdoor festivals. In 2002 TasteBudds.com opened, shipping cookie bar gift baskets nationwide. Taste Budd’s Café opened in 2005. The mission is to serve great food and desserts in a comfortable and casual setting. To support the village community, present visual art shows and live acoustic music. Taste Budd’s still travels to festivals and is proud to call Red Hook, NY home.
