History

Established in 1960.

Prodex, Inc. is a family owned and operated business founded by Earl H. Hellerman, Sr. in 1960. Our company was originally based out of Perkasie, PA and operated as a sole proprietorship until August 1965 when it was incorporated as «Prodex, Inc.».

During our company’s beginning stages, we dealt solely in the fabrication of structural steel such as stairs, ladders, handrails, etc. Then in the early 1970’s, we increased our format to include the design and fabrication of custom metal products which included large industrial mixing tanks, storage tanks, sediment tanks, platforms & mezzanines, and much more!

In 1976, our company decided to expand our workforce so we relocated to a new facility in Quakertown, PA.

In 1993 we purchased a second facility in Red Hill, PA. After relocating to Red Hill, our Quakertown facility was dedicated solely to manufacturing Dynatherm™ boilers.
