Some of the best chinese food you can find, not only tastes great but the servings are huge too. Their orange chicken is the best around

Favorite place to eat in Red Bluff! Great prices, good food, welcoming customer service. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, I’ve only dislike one out of the 100 + on there.

I won’t go anywhere else for Chinese food in town. Great food, especially for the price and portions!!! Try the green bean chicken. Yum!!!

Service is fantastic. Portions are overwhelming. Pricing is unbelievably inexpensive. Food… not so fabulous. Ordered General Chicken w/Chow Mein-super soggy, gooey even and chow mein is flavorless. Two orders of Orange Chicken w/white steamed rice. Again, soggy, like slop. Kung Pao Chicken. Altho the flavoring ws decent in the chicken and sauce, the vegetables(zucchini and carrot, cld hv bn another, I may hv forgotten), were HUGE chunks! I had to dig around for the chicken, playing hide-and-seek w/my food. Ths ws NOT a restaurant of my choosing to begin with. Based on the visual exterior and the 1st few steps in the door, I wanted to bolt… shld hv trusted my instinctual palette. LOL

We came here for lunch on a Sunday and were very happy with what we found! Atmosphere is very casual, plenty of seating with option of take out as well. You can tell the food is all made fresh and with whole ingredients. The egg drop soup, Kung pao chicken and orange chicken were excellent! Large portion sizes for great prices :) would come back again!

I’ve been here a few times and each time was a good experience. I enjoy the mini plate. You get two thing and they stuff the container full. It only costs a little over $ 4. I usually get the chow mein and a chicken or beef dish. The lemon chicken is really good. The beef is always tender and flavorful. I work right across the lot so it makes it very convenient. And the cooks are always quick and polite.

This place is great! Surprisingly good food for what looks like Chinese fast food, but really is not. The quantities are ridiculous and they are so busy that everything is really fresh(even the stuff in the food warmers) and they make beef and shrimp dishes right when you order them. The lady at the counter is always there and really friendly and the prices are super low for the quality and quantity of food you get.

Really great food with friendly staff. It may be fast food but it is good food. A great variety of Chinese comfort food and the food is always cooked fresh the way you want it. The portion of food is very filling so you won’t leave hungry. Over I really liked this place and I can’t wait to go back.

Went to this restaurant last night about 9:00 pm almost time for closing and the place was busy. The lady behind the counter still had a big smile on her face as she greeted the customers. Seems like she knows all the names of the customers. Amazing. I ordered my food — chicken fried rice, broccoli beef, and hot and sour soup. Wow, they are very good. Never expected that. And when the sign on the front window says NOMSG, they really mean it. I was not thirsty or had a dry mouth feeling as other Chinese food I have eaten. I will definitely go back to this restaurant as I travel the I-5 corridor very often. This will be my trusted stop for food.

Maple Garden is my go to take out place in Red Bluff. The atmosphere is not very welcoming, it has a waiting room feel, and its pretty clear that’s what most people use it for, waiting to get their take out, but the food is darn good. If you pick from the hot buffet up front you’ll be in and out, if you want to order something that isn’t in the buffet they make it in front of you. The portions are MASSIVE. The #19 Deluxe is $ 7.50 and I easily get two full meals from it. Highly recommend the orange chicken and Peking pork.

This place had incredible Chinese food for take out. I say take out, because the interior is not much to look at– so order your food to go. The portions are huge in terms of what you pay for. Everything is freshly prepared and the staff are always polite and very friendly.

I don’t why people say it’s good when the quality went down after the first owners left(they own China Doll now). The chicken is dry and the wantons are soggy oil. The people are nice but just the food isnt there.

Awesome food, huge portions, low price. Staff is super friendly. Can’t beat it for take out. Not fine dining inside by any means.

Maple Garden is right across the parking lot from where I work. So from time to time I stop in for lunch. Their food was good but over the last year or so each time i have frequented MG I had wished I hadn’t. I love Chinese food and it’s very conveniently located so I seem to get drawn back but then end up telling myself not to go back. Here’s the good. — The owners are awesome! They are very friendly. — Price is very reasonable. — Portion size is over the top.(this is a plus assuming the food is good) Now the not so good. — Atmosphere is really bad. They don’t use the air conditioning, so it’s usually like an oven in there. It’s just not an inviting atmosphere in any way. I recommend take out. — They don’t have fountain soft drinks or ice. If you want a soft drink it’s gonna be from a can. — Portion size is huge and trust me you’ll be sorry if you finish it. So if you’ve only got five bucks and you’re craving a massive plate of so so chinese food but you’re not really thirsty and you have a safe place to eat then you might want to stop in Maple Garden for lunch. Be sure to visit with the staff because they are really nice people.

This place actually has pretty damn good Chinese food… not something I would have expected in the Belle Mill plaza in Red Bluff, across from Food Maxx. The portions are MASSIVE, and I always catch the ever-cheerful front counter lady packing in as much as she can, and shoving the box closed. The food is freshly prepared unless you order from one of the ready-made, popular dishes in the hot buffet up front. I’ve never been disappointed with a single order from here, and I’m even a fan of the chow mein(which I’m not usually fond of anywhere). Highly recommend the Triple Mongolian! Very satisfyingly spicy and fresh. I’d definitely recommend Maple Gardens, out of most of the ridiculous amounts of Chinese takeout places that have accumulated in Red Bluff.
